Well, Melee is a bit weak. Target mobs that are 2-3 levels below you, and wipe the floor with them. I was doing that with a bunch of 33-36 mobs as my level 38 PGL. I gained about half a level in under 15 mins. XD

They also dropped awesome loot that sells pretty well.

Good news is I got 15 and all the Company quests done so now I get to choose which Grand Company to join (Gridania more likely than not), however when trying to get the BLM fight done I got pwned pretty bad. XD

So I'm going to wait till lvl 40 THM to give it another try.


Still having serious problems with gear, but at least once I can grind company quests (assuming you can actually do that) I'll have a access to some decent gear.

You'll have enough Storm Seals soloing for the chocobo license. After that, you'll need to group up for dungeons to continue with the storyline and be able to progress in ranks. There are a few options but they are very time consuming. They require certain kinds of materials and/or goods from crafting. And they only award very little seals for the effort. However, if you really prefer soloing, then that's pretty much the only viable option (it is an option, though, don't get me wrong, you just won't progress as quickly as you might like to)

Anyway, server merges will happen soon, so sit tight and once we get together, we can help each other with these things

Got to Mor Dhona.... Then I got hung up on a rock, and got killed by aggro. T_T

Coerthas is easier to get to than Mor Dhona and you go through Black Shroud to get there. The camp is closest to Black Shroud entrance. Stay on the roads cause Ureaus (sp?) pats there and that pieste is a mean mofo :3

I got all my BLM AF except of the body. A pick party and myself tried the BCNM fight 10 times, but to no avail.... :sadface: s'ok, will do what i shouldve done from the beginning and just do it with my LS...

Ah, Thanks. I just got bored, and started exploring the game.

I'm getting tired of the three same maps TBH. They are too big, and the way the levels for the monsters are, are just like... Bleh.

As for Accomplishment. Soled the BLM AF NM at level 38 Mnk... I thought it was a Random NM, but guess not. Was fun though. XD

Well, there's lots in the "older" three zones that I haven't even touched or seen. Even going to Camp Bald Knell makes me feel like something new, since I normally just drop off crafting leves. Engaging in battle leves there keeps it fresh.

Fortunately 2.0 will get rid of the pointless corridors and add zones instead.

And speaking of accomplishments, I got lvl 33 THM and LNC 15, but fun factor seriously takes a dive once you move to the lvl 30 camps. <_<;

BTW how do you get company seals solo before lvl 40? The only solo quests I've found are escort (I got owned once I got to the part where I had to fight 8 mobs at the same time) and protecting the NPC, which only gives 40 seals for 15 mins of fighting lowly mobs. And then if you set the difficulty to 2+ lvls above your own they become NMs class which you still have to fight for 15 mins straight. For... only... 40 (+10)... freaking... seals...

PS > For the record I need another 805 to get my choco license. So doing 20 of those quests would probably make me quit, lulz. <_<;

Rofl ... then you haven't played Rift or WoW.

I played them both. Played WoW for the PvP, and Rift for the Content. Both good games until I grew bored of the endless grind.

There are gathering and crafting quests. These can be soloed by practically anyone but does require quite a bit of whatever they ask for. Best thing to do is seek the NPCs and see whether or not their quota for that particular item has been met. Remember, only quota that has not been met can reward the company seals.

For example: If the Storm needs Walnut Logs and the quota currently is at 800/2000, you can only turn in 1,200 logs before it caps out. They may reward you at a rate of 10 logs for 1 company seal (1,200 logs will grant you 120 seals)

Well ... I checked the Storm Brigade and an oyster gives you 2 Storm seals. Some days you can get a good rate and other days they ask for hard to find items and reward you little.
