Off leves alone or did they increase SP gains on normal synthing as well?

I took a look this morning (6am GMT) and I noticed no increase in SP gains when doing Local Leve's, looks just like before to me.

Today I'm getting GLD 23-24

Tomorrow GLD 25 / WVR 23

Monday WVR 25

Tues day ARM46 with all subs at 25-26 and I'll start pumping out iron plate gear for HOPEFULLY some shard money.

I don't notice a dramatic SP increase ... is it just some synth or ... ? Is there any specific examples you can give pre and post patch?

Pre patch 290-350

after 480-610

Effectively doubled my SP and now I grind 40k a day and should be 80k on weekends instead of 20/35

Then it has to do with rank differences. The more higher your rank and the greater your rank difference to the recipe (in the positive) then the more SP you gain.

For example:

Recipe XYZ Rank 50

Craft ABD Rank 50 - 500sp
Craft ABD Rank 45 - 1000sp

Recipe GHI Rank 20

Craft ABD Rank 20 - 300sp
Craft ABD Rank 15 - 600sp

(Gonna coin this a Positive Relational Scaling ... Negative Relational Scaling is the same thing but in reverse)

Got fishing to Rank 20 and accepted that quest. I am up to 4,200 fishing marks. Fishing is one of the easiest to gain marks for. And YES, gathering classes have their own guild marks, which is one of the least talked about things in the game atm.

I have a feeling hammerhead shark catching is gonna be nerfed so I've been gunning for it with great gusto. Stockpiling the sharks (stacks now to 99) for alchemy later. Decent exp at 19 (~170sp) but I think will die at 20 so I'm trying to figure out what to target next. In the meantime, I'm spearfishing as often as possible, since it's the only way to get Lac bugs (used for making lacquer paints) which is SRS BZNS since you can sell them for outlandish amounts of money and THEY WILL SELL. Lures and Baits are so vital for fishing it's not funny. When you go from 1 in 10 catches with standard NPC baits to 1 in 3 or 1 in 2 on expensive lures then you know that is where the money is going to be once people turn to fishing in droves.

ARM46, did it while waiting for an "auction event" in gridania, them RPers are pretty fun to hang around with. lol

GLD22-25, was terrible. but I'm done with it and have successfully made Iron gauntlets. ARM46/LWR26/GLD25 with no issues what so ever.

Today I'll be making unholy amounts of work gloves (thank god I stacked over 200 cotton bolls) and try to go 22-25 on WVR.

Tomorrow~Friday push through surplus and get ARM47.

Sat~mon 48 tues~fri 49 and I'll be 50 on monday!

Then I'll debate on wither I go GLA after getting 50 or just starting a new craft... though there's a great chance I'll take a break from crafting lol.
