Yeah we are running 4 or 5 times a week right now 3 hours at a time, very soon the whole team will be 7/7 and we can stop running it in favour of moogle.

We got all but 1 of the ARCs to R50 today with the last one only needing 50K. Our war on moogle kind is about to begin.

Just got me some Murderous Mogfist's from Moogle fight, the only one I wanted and it dropped on 2nd kill. Ultra Cuteness FTW!

Decided to re-sub. I've only got 1 question that I haven't seen in any of the update postings: Have the done away with repairs or are they easier/cheaper to do now?

They still do repairs, they just cost money, that's all.

BTW, what server are you on YYG?

For low lvl gear NPC repair is only 100g. The only "downside" is NPCs only fix items to 99% condition.

So they did away with needing Mats to do repairs completely? Or did they only do away with it when you're repairing through an NPC?

I actually think I remember reading about that. Does equipment still deteriorate at the same rate it used to? I remember it being a bit on the fast side.

I think they did do away with the needing mats. And the durability doesn't drop super fast. Its at about a decent rate it drops.

Yeah durability has increased alot. If you die and return to your HP, it deteriorates faster, less deterioration by getting raise. When I play Moogle and Ifrit fights (and yes there are alot of deaths) on the weekends, probably total playtime of, gulp, 20 hours, I might have 3 pieces of gear that needs repairing. But as stated earlier, repairs are made with dark matter.

level 1-10 - dark matter grade 1
11-20 - grade 2
21-30 - grade 3
31-40 - grade 4
41-50 - grade 5

I believe the NPC cost goes:

1-10 - 200 gil
11-20 - 500 gill
21-30 - 1000 gil
31-40 - 2000 gil
41-50 - 5000gil

or something there abouts. I know the 5000 gil is correct and then just reduced the gil from what i recollect. All-in-all it's 1000% better.

I want to try to join a group but... No one seems to be doing groups on my server....

Since I started playing I've seen maybe only.... 20-25 people, ever.

Also... I hate the Dark shroud begining area. The music is nice, but it gets to you after a while, as well as the maze-like map. And its so damn linear.... Ugh... I want out of it. -.-;

I found an LS that does Gridania Caravan Security runs this week and managed to get 8,500 GC Seals.

Also got my MNK to R46, just 4 more levels before get to punch stuff to death with moogle happiness.

Got Pugilist to level 20, and got some good gear. Can't wait till I get rid of that damned subligar though.... At least it looks more like chaps now though due to the leather feet gear I got.

Also, finally beat Beckon of the Elementals fight.

How to beat

I beat it by sitting back and healing the party, and my self. Don't do anything but heal. Don't attack, just heal them as their Hp drops. As simple as that.
