THM 31, got a few quests done and currently leveling PUG (@lvl10 right now) but I think I must be doing something wrong. My hit rate is garbage of the lowest kind and there's not much gear that level to fix that. Not like I would actually have access to it anyway.

Then there's the matter that if it wasn't for Thunder I would be fighting mobs for a freaking long time since most of my hits and WS miss like crazy. Is this really how it is supposed to be or what am I missing? <_<;

Level 36 Gladiator holding off 4 level 40 rams and 2 level 40 wolves for a very confusing leve. I know I have to defend a spot but it was over in 5 min. Must be very difficult if you're not a meatshield.

(Oh and there were still 2 wolves and 2 rams up when it ended ... there was a total of 3 wolves and 4 rams but it took me forever to kill the first wolf due to level differences and wolves innate high evasion)

Got THM 26 last night, if everythig goes according to plan I should be 30 by sat and then get lvl30 quests done on sun.

Let's see: Today's accomplishments are...

Level 28 -> 34 CONJ
Level 19 -> 21 Leatherworker
Level 19 -> 20 Weaver
Level 19 -> 20 Alchemist

Level 30 CONJ Quest started

First 3 Quests for Gridania and Ul'Dah's Grand Companies done

Not a bad day at all.

Also... Killed that NM Mite in Mun Tuy (?) and got the Rare/Ex level 30 Sword for GLD. Guess that'll have to be my next main...

It's about boss mobs. But they are removing the boss system pretty soon anyway and switch back to good old training I'd assume. XD

Does the fire and earth fists actually do fire and earth damage respectively? Would the damage get boosted if you are wearing + fire potency gear?

I would assume it does. I haven't tested it yet though. I have noticed fire/earth weak mobs take more damage, and the same happens for earth/fire resistant. Doing 2 damage to goats my level... ><

So, I would like to test it.

I would like to find out how the link system works. At first me and a linkshell buddy thought it was that the mobs would link if they are a higher level/same family but, we where fucking about one day, and we had a lady bug that was 8 levels lower than the crabs we where killing link.

No seriously, I really hope they add something else besides that for 1.xx players. Although the story itself is probably better than any items they could add anyway. Also, looking forward to getting an armored Chocobo eventually.

Got PGL to level 34, and damn... I'm loving Fists of Fire.

And hit a lvl 34 mob (While using Fists of Earth), for a 400 crit, with out blind side and pounce. Haha. Wish I had taken a screen cap of that. X_X

Got the gobbue mount. Yay!

Yesterday I spent the entire day playing XIV (THM23.) Got a lot of quests done and joined both the Twin Adder and the Maelstrom as a recruit. Tonight: the Flames.





Also caught a glimpse of Kan-E-Senna while doing one of the quests. Holy crap she is gorgeous.
Although her sister got mad at me in the process... oops. <_<;

That made me wonder though, as much as I'm looking forward to 2.0 I'm really hoping it wont affect the quality of the characters on PC. Tanaka&Co may have completely screwed up gameplay, but the music, the characters and the non copy/paste'd parts of the world are pretty awesome once you can run the game properly.

The music isn't in any danger thankfully, but the world and the great looking characters may be.

THM 21 and CNJ 9 which I'm leveling right now. If possible I want to level it to 18 by tomorrow. <_<;




PS > Only reason I'm playing CNJ is I'm playing it THM style. But there's no chance in hell I'll ever use it to main heal in a party, I just want Stoneskin and Protect for my THM. XD

Got Pugilist to level 20, and got some good gear. Can't wait till I get rid of that damned subligar though.... At least it looks more like chaps now though due to the leather feet gear I got.

Also, finally beat Beckon of the Elementals fight.

How to beat

I beat it by sitting back and healing the party, and my self. Don't do anything but heal. Don't attack, just heal them as their Hp drops. As simple as that.

I found an LS that does Gridania Caravan Security runs this week and managed to get 8,500 GC Seals.

Also got my MNK to R46, just 4 more levels before get to punch stuff to death with moogle happiness.
