FFXIV gets a 4.0 from Gamespot and other reviews & hilarious discoveries about FFXIV
Re: FFXIV gets a 4.0 from Gamespot and other reviews & hilarious discoveries about FF
I insist on VIDEO EVIDENCE WITH WITNESSES of said hat eating. All I'm saying. And if they are not Red Mage pimp hats, then I will be all /disappointed.

^ If you're looking for a linkshell, you're welcome to join mine, its casual but the folks are alright.(Lately I've been coming across alot of people in dead shells, that needed a new home, its nice that mine is getting new blood but kinda scary that so many shells are losing their people.)
Though the game won't be so lonely if the all those 1-4 people shells started clustering into bigger shells, so its alright.

I'm somewhat bummed that there isn't much if any coverage on what is happening to the game patch-wise, I'm hoping that SE starts advertising the game more after the Dec update.

To be fair I don't think there is anyone that takes Sankaku seriously with all of the lolicon hentai splashed over the banners and the owner's blatant disregard for actually researching the things he posts about.
I've always had the theory that it started as a troll site like Encyclopaedia Dramatica but people actually started taking it seriously.
To stay on topic, I still have fun with FFXIV, but between my RPLS falling apart, Cataclysm and FFXIV having no endgame to work towards means that I only really seem to pop on to go my leves for an hour or so then go and do something else.
Same thing happened with Aion's release really though Aion did have an established PvP system to tide you over until they released actual content for the game. Then you have games like Warhammer Online that still doesn't have any content but the game is purely PvP (and you can hit 80 from nothing but PvP) anyway then there's WoW that likes to destroy it's content a year or so after releasing it but does have other things to distract you like Arenas or expansion hype events. The Cataclysm event was a MASSIVE rip off of FFXI's besieged but it was entertaining once people learned how to win at it.
Re: FFXIV gets a 4.0 from Gamespot and other reviews & hilarious discoveries about FF
Eh? I assume you think I'm ashamed of the source because I didn't link or cite it. I stopped linking it because of its other content. I arbitrarily didn't bother to cite it this time because I assumed people would rightly guess it's from the same source I've been using, as you did. I'm not sure why I started visiting the site in the first place, but I continue to check it semi-regularly because they post XIV-related news that isn't just a parroting of official releases. Not that I'm criticizing outlets that do the latter, I'm just saying that's 95% of the XIV reporting. Why I want to continue reading the downer XIV coverage Sankaku publishes would be a fair question, though.
I will make three hats this weekend. Interest rates are at a record low. Any additional requests within reason?

What is left of the Final Fantasy XIV player-base is expressing alarm at the number of gold-farmers now swarming the servers, already depopulated enough as it is.
Players can’t help but notice that a lot of the “players†seen around actually appear to be mass-generated alts or bots, likely for the purpose of generated in-game currency and items which can then be sold at a substantial profit offline:
(There were several images like this. Not worth posting them all.)
Names appear to range from lazy keyboard bashing to nonsense, and of course some distinctly Chinese sounding names are present.
Either Square Enix is either not keen on the idea of wiping out hundreds or thousands of farmers due to the game’s already tiny population, or it simply could not care less about players facing the prospect of having all their kills stolen by Fgjj Fjff and company.
The game’s decline in player numbers appears to have stabilised at around 24,000 players for now:
All this raises the question of just who will be left to buy all this farmed gold…
That blog post on the biggest video games flops didn't even list APB. Instead, it listed a pre-order bonus for some game I can't think of as a game and called it a flop.
Total negligence.
I think someone actually has to want to play the game/think it's going to be good for it to be considered a flop when it fails.
