E3 2009: FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Coming Exclusively to PS3 in 2010

At Sony's 2009 E3 Press Conference, SCEA President Jack Tretton revealed that FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, AKA "Rapture" will be coming to PLAYSTATION 3 exclusively in 2010. No details were given but a trailer was shown, featuring a very FFXI-like world, but the lore seems to hint that it's a completely new one. The races looked similar but may not be the same either.

FFXIV is the next MMO from Square Enix and it will launch exclusively for the PS3 in 2010. I'd expect it to come to PC and 360 at a later time.
