I'll keep an eye on this because I have gotten curious with what exactly they're going to do with this. I'm probably not going to play it, but I'd at least like to know why first.

It would be really nice if you could import your XI char's stat/skill merit/levels for your Rapture character Chocobo style, but only that.

After all my new char will be as close as possible to the the char I have right now, so I can just pretend he is a descendant or something.

OP should like... put some image+details don't you think?

He is waaay too lazy for that. But he will tell you it's because he thinks people can google it themselves and stuff.

Yeah, thing is, I play at least one of the two MMOs I'm playing ALL. DAY. I won't ever get a chance to play anything else on the PS3 if I get FF14 on it. Which wouldn't make it at all a worthwhile investment for me.

PS3's not any more expensive than the 360 really. Depending on what you buy for either it comes out about the same, maybe a 20-40 dollar difference at most (well, if you get an elite anyway)

Not like the system is without some good games either but to each their own.

I know EQ2 had some sort of heritage system in place. Not an actual transfer of the character, but a name thing, or some sort of status. I don't know, I didn't play EQ.
