Starlight Moonlight

this is something i've been curious about for a while, but no one i know has their club skill high enough to test it out, and i'm not high enough level to level up my club skill easily to test for myself.

does anything affect the amount of mp gained from Starlight and Moonlight weaponskills?
like CHR, INT, or MND?
what color is the little symbol next to the weaponskill names?
and how much does TP affect the amount of mp gained?

They are entirely based on TP, from what I can tell. Well...TP and your weapon skill, I guess.

For me, a 100% starlight results in about 10 mp gained back. 300% starlight results in 30-33 mp gained back. They're a fairly large let down, unfortunately.

Ive gotten about... 47mp? at 300% with moon

they suck badly, hexa strike is the best club WS and spirit taker and retribution are the good staff WS ( full swing is a joke ).

Full Swing is better then any other staff ws before it, on Too weaks. I did 850~ once on a too weak pugil I got while fishing. o.o; Sunburst never does more then 200.

starlight and moonlight arent very good.. at club 150 i get usually 16 MP with 100 TP.. i cant wait til i start getting the good club skills

Starlight sucks, but Moonlight does see some use. I've had one LS member report that they saw an entire party taking down a Behemoth with Kraken Clubs and using Moonlight for MP recovery (rofl). Granted, they were probably doing it for fun, but still amusing nonetheless.

Moonlight isnt bad...You get about the same MP/TP as starlight...but for everyone in your PT. Moonlight with a Kraken is about as good MP regen than Refresh or Double ballad for Behemoth since he is fairly easy to hit at 75.
