Raise I, Raise II, and Raise III..

Okay... can someone explain to me exactly what the difference between all these is?

All I know is that Raise I recovers 25% of the xp lost when death occured.

I believe Raise II recovers 50% and Raise III recovers 75%.

I was soloing outside jueno and got killed by a skink I failed to charm 5 times in a row, and I got raised by a party of lvl 70+ ppl who were just passing by. The WHM used Raise III on me. :]

Raise I is about 25% of your exp back, with about a 5 min. wait, and somewere around 8 hp recovered.

Raise II is about 50% of your exp back, with about a 3 min. wait, and somewhere around 15 hp recovered.

Raise III is about 60% of your exp back, with a 1 min. 20 sec. wait, and about 45 hp recovered on raise.

Raise IV is about 75% of your exp back, with about a 10 sec. wait, and half your hp recovered on raise.

By wait I mean how long till the Recovery Sickness wears off.

It has been posted that if you are below lvl 50 and get Raise II, III, or IV cast on you you still only get 25% exp back.

Not sure if its true, not that hard to test tho.

I like ppl to test this cuz when I first got Raise I did this 2 ppl. I raised one person with Raise 1. Then Divine Seal and Raise the 2nd person. The was no differ in the time or HP gained.. The first & second person still to 3 min to regain all their HP. I dont think raise can stacked on with other spells..

Actually, that's wrong...

Raise = 25% exp recovered
Raise II = 75% exp recovered
Raise III = 95% recovered.

edit: Yes, raise 2 and 3 don't work on people level 50 or below. They function identical to Raise then.

I don't think that Devine Seal does anything to Raise, it more used for cure spells.

Divine seal with raise doesn't help.
Just ask those who claim it about how much more exp they just regained from that raise and you'll see that either they don't know or they give a bs number (often VERY incorrect, to "prove" that they are right).

I have heard that Raise 2 gives back 75% XP

And Raise 3 100%

raise II and raise III can only be used on jobs that are lvl 50 and above

Raise:
25% XP returned for any character.

Raise II:
25% XP returned for characters level 50 or lower
75% XP returned for characters level 51+

Raise III:
25% XP returned for characters level 50 or lower
95% XP returned for characters level 51+

No, there never was. Macht just has a bad habit of making up or finding very strange information to post at times. Just take it with a bit skeptism. :sweat:
