I say my Moth Axe did 70 damage, do you REALLY believe this? No,of course not. I saw someone do 80 damage with the level 5 axe. It is hear say, it means nothing. Check out this thread in the ingame forum made by Razz about an outfit, this outfit is edited but someone could come in and say they saw it ingame, are you going to believe them?

It's also very possible to do 20 per hit in Kazham.

i know im going to ruffle a couple of feathers with this stament but do not take it personaly

at around lvl 40 with my drk i started to cringe when the idea of a war tanking came up. its not that im souleater happy (ok i love the graphic for it and i really love the damage) i can hold back no problems my big problem is with the wars lack of hate holding skills at that level and beyond they have umm provoke where a pld has provoke, flash, sheild bash, and can heal him/her self for more hate. now mind you i have pulled more then my share of hate off lazy pal's. but my reall consern about having a war tank is having the mob run over and have a taru taru blm snack mid battle.

but pre 30 i would say war/mnk or war/nin are a very viable option for tanking. i know i end up tanking alot while i level my war sub.

I agree. It becomes increasingly harder for Warriors to tank successfully past level 30. Boost doesn't even get us any hate in the nest. They can tank fairly well up until 40, but at they point they should be invited strictly for the damage because we do have a very good output.

With the right equipment we can be on par or better then Dark Knights when it comes to damage. And if the Paladin is two shotted or linked or somebody is aggroed, who saves the day? Surely not Dark Knights.

Nameless is right, I don't care if you saw it man, that 8 points of dmg isn't going to make the weapon do 40 more dmg a hit...There's nothing wrong with using a Moth Axe till 30, I used the lvl 12 one till 30 and still did 30-35 a hit ;/

Yes it does make a damage difference. Me being a career warrior, and leveling ninja, who's level 13, 16, and 19 katanas all have 11 damage, I know for a fact that the more DMG the more damage output. I've partied with other warriors that used outdated weapons, and they couldn't do anything well.

Thanks for being a gimped warrior, we need more people like you to make warriors seem crappy. You're missing a lot like +5 accuracy, and additional effects because you used a level 12 weapon at level 30. GJ.

Seeing as how I havn't level warrior past 40 yet, and the AF axe has much needed +2 dex, Razor axe is the best choice for now.

CC axe is quite a bit better then your precious dex+2. If you need dex so much wear dex+ rings. Yeah, I have no idea what's going on.

Also, my equipment is far from gimped, I have everything I should have. Like I said before there was no need for a better weapon before, now there is.

The DMG and speed are barely comparable, but to some warriors such as I we need all the Dex we can get. It helps with accuracy and critical hit rate. Str is a warrior's best friend, not just Atk. With Str we get a higher minimum damage and a higher Atk, which is maximum damage.

So instead of getting a two more DMG for a bit slower axe with only the potential to hit hard, warriors can ensure their accuracy and damage. I'm not the hypocrite you think I am because the 2 damage different is better put to use as Dex. Trading a couple DMG in on any weapon for Dex would make any weapon better.

I would take a Combat Caster's Axe +1 or +2 over the Razor Axe any day though. I'm not sure if that is what your talking about, but I'm probably just as disappointed as you in the Razor axe.
