DRK quest

Hey guys. I'm going to do the DRK quest in bastok. I've talked to Gumbah, but I didn't get any info on what to do. Nothing popped up in the Quest screen either. Am I doing something wrong? I'm a Lv30 RDM so I meet the level requirement. Anything else? Let me know soon. Thanks.

They didnt talk about a dark knight beeing seen in palborough mines?

what you are to do is to go to palborough mines and take the boat back tob astok,
if you didnt get any quest in your quest list, then i don't know.
shouldn't have to have any fame to get this quest done.

try doing next step in the quest, you may still get it. and its not Hard.

well its fairy easy but Word to the wise for you.. yer in trouble if u dont have any War lvls or Greatsword skill....

I'll put it this way.. I did it with a level 30 War, Capped Greatsword skill.. took me an hour and a half withotu resting once... When u gett he quest you'l understand... The Most tedius thing you'll have to do for a while lol.

I haven't used war yet. This is my time to bring it up for a drk sub. hehe.

It worked even though it didn't show up as a quest. What do I do after I kill 100 things with the deathbringer?

Go to beaudauex(sp?) U dont actually have to go into it or anything, just enter the area, cut-scene, and then yer home free, and welcome to the World of the Dark Knight

I hope u know, They ahev to be regular kills. The last shot cannot be a Weapon skill or magical attack orf anykind, poison, or direct damage. Critical hits work, but it must be a regular shot from the sword.

Will it let me know when I have 100 kills? I'm happy I didn't waste any time going to beadaux! lol. I used dia to help bring down a few monsters. Also, does it count when the mob kills themself (ex: bomb drops with gobs)? Looks like I have a good 30-40 more kills to do today! lol. Man this sword sucks. I think I'm going to do the quest for the chaosbringer instead of buying one. /sigh

Don't forget you have to kill all 100 in one session, you cant zone or logout while doing it, then the counter will get reset

lol... The quest for chaosbringiner is exactly the same as his quest to become Dark.. yer gonna have so much "fun" :sweat: Yes.. the final atatck as I said MUST BE REGULAR/critical.. no weaponskills, not magic, not any of their own suicide abilities. IE.. if it ever says
" <Insertmonster> falls to the ground..." that didnt count.

This is incorrect. You can zone and Log as much as you want. The counter is kept. I have personally tested this, and it accumulates as long as like TheColes said, you kill them with a regular hit.

Also, after you become DRK, you can go back to Gumbah, and receive a quest to upgrade Chaosbringer to Deathbringer, which is a GODDAMN AMAZING GS for a level 5 DRK. I was 2-hitting EMs with it. >_<

The quest for the upgrade involves killing another 100 mobs. (So total 200 kills with Chaosbringer)

Nice. Thanks for the reply. I was going to be really sad if I had to kill another 100. lol. But my question hasn't been answered: Is there something that tells you to that you have reached 100kills?

Also, that quest is my plan. I'll be nearly lv5 by the time I get done with that quest which is perfect.

Also, what are EMs? I'm still learning all of these acronyms!

wait wait a second.. deathbringer ... is Good?!?! Holy shit I shoulda done that quest then lol

[Edit] I didnt see anythgint hat told me.. so basicalyl which i did form the start and I think you should do.. Grab a peice of paper.. and nwo this is the hard part.. grab a pencil/pen.. and Shocking but TRUE... Mark them down lol its just the safest bet. Personally I did 110 kills witht he Chaosbringer just to be safe that i didnt mess up or anything. But then again iw as 30 war with capped gswd, so it was easier ;;
