    mine isn't so much a job adjustment as a game overhaul. i wish there was a factor in the games makeup that would allow the same mob to get tougher depending on how many ppl are in the party. lets call it rage. so say a lvl 40 party of 6 ppl are fighting gobs in some slightly too low area, the gob once ingaged with the party would rage, making itself stronger allowing you to have a challenge. this would also allow se to make the game more solo freindly. which leads me to the fact that not every person on the planet can bow and scrape to everyone else. forced to group together for everything is lame. i should be able to do anything in this game alone. but increase the challenge for anyone who goes in a party, to make a party worth bothering with.

      The fact that you have to party in this game makes it unique, and therefore, better. If you have problems with Grouping play BST. =\

        i have played bst. it isn't very fun. i like mnk better. and while mnk can solo to a certain extent, the rewards for such are quite lacking though. but it is fun and challenging to solo, as opposed to parties where i would hit CTRL A and 3 macros every fight while chain smoking or cleaning my house... no challenge at all, and that was the point to my previous post.

          You mean like rage mode for HNMs after a certain time elapses


          Honestly though I do wish the combat was a little more intuitive. It's always seemed horribly stupid to me that you can't really take advantage of terrain on jobs like RNG and BLM in most scenarios. A lot of the time the mob will just come right up the wall and in your face, or the game won't let you attack to begin with from the higher ground.

          Then there's the fact that two people can be using different weapons, let's say a dagger vs a spear, and be able to hit the mob from the same range. Well WTF is that? Some weapons ought to be easier to parry with too depending on what you are facing. For example, if someone swings a broad sword at you and you have either a sword or a two handed weapon, you can easily block that. But god help you if you have a dagger or club. Stuff like that.


          Or maybe I've just been playing too much FF7 Crisis Core lately... (Which despite it's annoying flaws, is a much better game than Dirge of Cerberus)

            WAR - More tanking tools. WAR is put across as the most versitile melee class in the game yet people laugh when one turns up to camp with tanking gear and/or without /NIN.

            MNK - I haven't played as this class much (lv14) so I wouldn't know what needs to be changed. The number of enemies that resist blunt makes me wonder if MNK should get a JA that lets it lower a mob's blunt resistence for a very short time.

            THF - This job cries out for more DD tools. I have only taken THF to 16 so I wouldn't know what it needs in endgame but thus far all THF seems to be good for is kiting links with Voke + Perfect Dodge.

            RDM - RDM is overpowered enough already so I wouldn't really add anything to it. However RDM/NIN with an offhand Buzzard Tuck has great potential for DDing so give them tier 2 En-Spells and let them have some fun on the frontline.

            WHM - My job is completely shafted in the MP regen department. All I get is Calm Mind 4. All the other MP users have native abilities to recover MP and have much better MP regen abilities.

            I'm a Lv40WHM and I find that I only ever get invites to parties anymore if there is no RDM around. If there is a RDM in the party I end up just being a haste-bot even if subbing SCH makes my cures the most MP efficient in the game. RDM's ability to max out thier MP every 10 minutes really kills WHM post-40 and once RDM gets haste well I dread to think about what is going to happen to my invite rate.

            WHM would benefit a lot from some better MP regen tools. I'm not asking for anything near as powerful as Refresh or Sublimation. Heck auto-refresh with it's 20mp a minute would be much, much much better than only having Calm Mind 4.

            BLM - More MP efficiency tools would make this popular for parties. I find myself inviting RDM and SCH for nuking over BLM for this very reason. I see that BLM loses out on invites if SCH is around which is why I'm putting this idea forth. BLM has Conserve MP and the best Calm Mind in the game so parties never mind the BLM sitting out for a moment to take a knee. Something that makes them have to take a knee less often would be nice.

            NIN - Lower Utusemi casting times. As a WHM I'm sick and tired of meleeburn elitists skimping on Utusemi and becoming MP sponges because interruptions make people stop believing it's worth it. Regen takes a long time to cast but you don't see me saying it isn't worth it. Look at it this way. You lose a few second recasting utusemi. We lose five minutes when you die and thus cause me to die for skimping on it. A gap of a few seconds in damage output is more than worth not having to wait 5 minutes for weakness to wear.

            BRD - I'm not sure what BRD would benefit from as simply switching to this class guarantees a party invite. An extra tier of ballad would be nice for us mages to have. Other than that I think i saw someone suggest the ability to have songs single target people. I would definitely agree with that.

            PLD - Give them Stoneskin and blink. I don't care what anyone says but stoneskin and blink would make PLD a very viable tank again. It would also make it a very good tanking subjob for WAR and NIN.

            DRK - I don't see anything that need changing on this job. Maybe some more -Emnity gear?

            DRG - I haven't played this yet so I wouldn't know.

            SMN - Again I haven't played as this class so I wouldn't know

            BST - A promt to say thay your jug is about to run out and that mob is going to charge at you or your charmed pet is about to flip out and kill you would be nice. Other than that it would be nice to see some more abilities that benefit parties. The "Killer" traits are always nice to have around but other than that there is not any real reason why I wouldn't invite BST over any other melee DD.

            RNG - A JA that reduces emnity on the next shot would be nice. Haste effecting ranged attacks would also make this WHM very happy.

            SAM - Not played this so I wouldn't know.

            PUP - More parts would be nice

            BLU - Not played this yet so I wouldn't know

            COR - Ditto here

            DNC - This class is powerful enough so I'm not sure if it needs any additions to it. That being said I haven't touched this class since unlocking it so I really wouldn't know if it needs anything more.

            SCH - SCH just got a very, very nice update so I'm happy enough with it. I have it at 37 right now and it will be the class I take to 75 after WHM.
