Personally, I've found that making a slice in the back aprx. 15cm long is sufficient space to shove an electric blanket in, thus making everything nice and warm.


of course, if you leave it on too long, you'll just cook it, so be careful.

Hey everybody! I'm new here but this thread seemed fun!

I started FFXI with the american release, played for a few years, then came back, stopped for a few more, and now im back again. I just can't get enough i guess.

1) One thing I've always wondered about was why is it so much easier to get to Valkurm Dunes on foot when you start at San'Doria vs. starting in Bastok... You have to walk through two whole zones before you get to Konschtat, and with San'Doria you just have the one tiny Ronf.... Always wondered why they did that...

2) Second thing that has always kind of confounded me was the are in Bastok that you can't get to yet... after 7 YEARS! I think it was already mentioned earlier, but I had to mention that I've wondered about.

Honest about anything else that I would have listed here years ago has been updated and changed for the better IMO. The highest I ever took a job was Theif to 58, then promptly de-leveled thanks to my stupidity, so I can't speak for past that. But coming back now after this latest update I think I'll stick around a lot longer.

Everything seems to have been streamlined, even the smallest little things that I really didn't like, like having to talk to the guy outside the moghouse in contries other than yours... YUCK I can't tell you how many times it slipped my mind that I hadn't set my mog house here or there and I was refused entrance. Sure it was a little thing, but it feels like they really have nipped a lot of the little things in the butt.

All and All, after playing WoW, Age of Conan, Warhammer, EQ 2, Star Wars Galaxies, Lineage II, Tabula Rasa, D&D online stormreach, and Vangaurd over the last couple of years I'm still returning to FFXI because it really is the best.
