For me well . . . Aegis not even a question there , that item really cannot be beat tanking-wise for a PLD in sub slot.

I've seen Gate of Tartarus, and to be honest, it's cool, but AM II and even the Tier IV BLM spells look alot cooler. The Refresh effect is kinda neat to, but it's not worth the cost for a staff. Personally, I would take Aegis, Gjallarhorn or Brauva for a practical choice. Now, untimately I would end up taking Annihilator simply because it looks awsome, it's WS is shweet, and I would be able to run around /SAM spamming the WS and making all the newbies in d00nz go "omgwtfbbqkittenz!!!11!11one11!!111eleventy-one11!!!!1!!"

Gungnir, not only does it have Acc+20 making it much easier to hit things, but it also weakens their Def, which helps everyone.

Mjollnir, becuase well it is more or less the best 1 handed weapon in the game ;o
But also like every relic weapon is god like. I just hope I can get my whm 75 or anything 75 atleast... Then I can work on getting one ;o

I'd definitely go Relic Horn. I almost chose Mandau, because it's pretty nifty, and to be honest, I also like Excalibur and Apocalypse, but I just really the Gjallarhorn.

Ok, so this sounds like one of those newb questions that considers an end result completely out of context of the path to that goal ... because it pretty much is. Basically I'm wondering if you hypothetically had every job at 75 and could chose one job to upgrade one relic weapon for, which one would it be and why? Which weapon is most worth the enormous amount of time and money required to upgrade it to the final stage? If you think none of them are worth it that's a perfectly valid opinion, but for the sake of arguement let's say you could just pick one and have it given to you.
