To each their own, I don't feel it is a waste. To me its a waste to have hundreds of seals sitting in my safe/locker knowing my chances of doing a round of bcnm's for money with others happens once a year. Hubby made out great on his runs....well he would have if I had not zoinked the blm ring. But he still made out ok because I gave him my divine log and now he has his Shura body.

If they were my only method of making money, perhaps. But thankfully I have other sources of income, and can let those seals sit until I can maximize their potential.

To me, seals are a chance to make some big money fast, if you're lucky. I'm willing to wait to do that if the alternative means a 2/3 chance that I may get nothing at all.

Continued pet peeve: Undercutters. Again. TK was going for 80k for weeks, except for when I farm a pop item and get one to sell, then people decide it should be 70k. DIE IN A FIRE!

I wish I could teach patience in this game.

That happens to me all the time. -.- "Oh look, Republic Knuckle's have been 30k for awhile, I should finally get rid of mine." Later, see they haven't been selling, now it's suddenly 20k.

I think I'm being watched for every time I decide to put something up.

Seriously, though, for all that you say about her she's a danger to herself and others, and any guy should really think to himself why he would want to date this girl if every other man before him she dated ended up being used. What on Earth and Vana'diel combined would make him think he was any different?

And before I get the obvious answer, I doubt the sex appeal is worth even that much, and I'm a dude myself.

Eventual pet peeve! . . . I seriously think that S-E forgot to give the Omodaka Armor her nerf bat or something. Thrice did she appear out of thin air while I was trying fight the other Armors when she hit me for my entire maximum HP's worth, plus tax. With a normal attack.

. . . And I'm a Paladin. Yeah . . .

te storage npcs and the fact that you can only store sets.I mix and match most of my gear for pld to get the most out of vit and mp I don't like sacraficing that either.It annoys me that we cannot say store gear by lvl an not set.I have 0 use for my AF since Adaman gear barr AF Feet of course but i neeed to store feet too y can i not pay for what i want to store

Overhunting. I was in a party last night in Qufim. We were mostly 20-21 fighting pugs. It was a whiff fest. Finally I started pulling crabs left and right til we got a level or two. Then pugs didn't take 10 years to kill.

Yeah. Starting over isn't half as fun when you know the ins and outs. There's nowhere near the fascination and things just feel like chores.

My biggest pet peeve is the cocky bastards with like 10 75 jobs that feel there is no way in hell there is any other way to do anything other than the way they do it.

I can't begin to emphasize the importance of an open mind in FFXI, but I can honestly say that I know just as many that have too many 75's that are awesome that I do that are stuck up blankety-blanks lol.

I have even been caught being the stubborn bastard who won't listen to a new idea because I've seen it go wrong every other way. But I have been humbled many a time by seeing a plan I thought could not possibly work shine brilliantly and successfully.

So my new approach to things is if it looks like it might work let's do it, unless time doesn't permit. I try to keep as open a mind as I can and it irks the crap out me to try and have a mature discussion of how something could be done better or why something happened the way it did and get nothing but a cold "It's this way no matter what you say and if you disagree your a moron and should just quit the game" attitude.

We are all guilty at some point or another of being...stuck in our ways but I just wish more people were more open-minded. I guess it goes like the saying does... Why do people with closed minds always have to open their mouths?

Try World of Warcraft. Just try.. it's worth it for the first time playing. That's what I liked about WoW most. The first time I played it till level 40.. the exploring.. one of best MMO times I had. And yet still back to FFXI I am which is my longest-lasting best MMO time
