I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to PL an entire party. Even if I'm getting paid. Too much responsibility, too little thanks. And also it just sucks.

Once in awhile running through area's to finish something up dont mind throwing a few buff's / cures out BUT then they start expecting more from you! EEEK

I've come to realise that now Sev, no matter how polite I am, and how respectful of others want/need for a PL, they still abuse me for leaving. Even on the times that I find myeslf a good replacement. (most of the time they say dont worry, the PL will look after them until they find a 6th)
I guess I'm just tired of it. I don't see why I should have to party with a PL if I don't want to. Everyone has the freedom to play the game the way they choose, I don't see why I cannot do the same.

People who accept a party invite knowing they have little over an hour to play. I had a WHM today who had 1 hour and 15 minutes before an LS event. So why the fuck did you accept my invite?

On lower level jobs it's not so bad. Still inconsiderate as hell, but not that terrible. But on level 67-68 jobs, you know damn well no one is going to level in one hour. Just irritates me.

Aksannyi i do pt with like 1.5 hrs till a ls event but i usually have what time i have to leave as well as let party know how long it now is when i get an invite. And always find a rep well before it gets towards crunch time ^.^ b

Well if you find a replacement that's one thing, but the WHM who accepted the invite wasn't LFG to begin with, so it wasn't like she was going to have much luck finding another one to replace her ... not like she actually tried, anyway. We ended up having to disband. ; ;

As RDM, people who yell at me to refresh them, even though they're a BLM or DRK or something that's not high up on my list of people that need refresh, especially when I don't have enough MP to cast it and Convert isn't up yet.. Then they go "well it's your JOB to give me refresh!!" .. yeah, when they have 500 MP left

I'm sorry, but the only people I actively Refresh:
Me, PLD, WHM(or main healer)

I'll only refresh anyone else when they're low on MP, or if I have some time to spare (rare as RDM), especially with a lot of other casters in the party.

This needed to be said ! Peep's think we have endless MP in back pocket and or Convert has no time limit

Im going to have to disagree with you on mobs that need to be stunned you refresh the dark or you end up waiting more mp. But if they like alot of drk who forgot they have magic outside absorb-tp then screw em =P.

I think both are though.... Not that many mobs that have MP you can exp off of these days.... and some times, Aspir can really be resisted.... e.g MB ES aspir on rdm for 4 mp -.-;; start of fight too.... (And nope, i wasn't near full mp.)

I agree with eTicket. I've never been in a party that needs the DRK to Stun that consistently. His Refresh can wait.

Just looked up Stun's recast, 45secs w/o fast cast, or haste. So its the same as Ni. Fast as you can get it then, at least fast as I gotten ni so far would be about 33 seconds.

I think your anger is being misdirected. It's not like the WHM put up pt flag knowing she only had an hour to play.

If you had to go out of your way to find someone to fill the healer slot, don't get all upset at them that they weren't in a position to party for 3 hours.

At least you got to party for an hour. If the WHM hadn't accepted your invite, you wouldn't have done any partying at all.

The thing was, she didn't say anything until after we were all at camp. She was like, "Oh, by the way guys, I only have an hour left now."

It would have been different if she had said it from the start, but she waited until we got to a camp before speaking up.

I personally hate the Dynamis buffing PT member, they're in for PT all of 45 minutes then leave because they have Dynamis. Because you know we're just supposed to turn on merit mode the first chance we get, not like buffering to cap helps or anything.

Personally, if I'm not capped off at 75 at some point in the week, its quickly address and forced into merit mode again. I have never delevelled from 75 on any job.

As RDM, one my priorities is to make sure other party members have MP. The refresh order is Myself > PLD > main healer > DD w/MP, but I do catch everyone in every cycle (sooner or later), unless someone is not using his/her MP. (Heck, I'd Refresh BRD/WHM if he's backup curing a lot.)

In MP heavy party, I've gone as RDM/BRD to lighten my own workload by adding Ballad on top of full party Refresh--the more MP other people have, the fewer spells I have to cast.

DRK with MP can use Absorb spells and Stun, BLU with MP can Headbutt a lot and do great damage with other spells, and we all know what BLM's do with their MP. In fact, every MP user is able to help kill things faster or safer if more MP is available. My job is to make sure they have that MP they need, even if I have to cut into my own MP pool by using a gimpy /BRD.
