Today's pet peeve: BLMs THAT STILL CAST BIO OVER ME!!!

YOU GET ASPIR!
YOU GET STUN!
YOU GET TRACTOR!
That's FOUR opportunities you get to level your Dark Magic skill, to the RDM's paltry one(we only get the Drain, Aspir, and Tractor if /BLM). If the party needs Bio, let the RDM or the tank determine that! Stop overwriting Dia just to get a few cheap skillups in! You have other spells to that end!

I don't understand what your problem is here, there is nothing stopping you from casting Bio to skill up Dark Magic.

You should be casting Dia II in a party anyway, if you have time throw some Bio I's at it at the end of the battle.

Some BLMs will cast Bio II over your Dia II, though. I've had that happen a few times, even after 3 members have said, "{Bio} {No thanks.}" Some people just don't listen, I guess. :/

Yes that's retarded, but it still doesn't stop the RDM from casting Bio for skillups.

Unannounced afks in time-sensitive situations are rather annoying too.

I did a dynamis-xarc run last night. We usually have kite teams set up for NMs. One of the kiters went afk unannounced for about 10-15 minutes before one of the pulls. We replaced him on that pull and got everything taken care of, but that was pretty damned annoying.

i hate ppl going afk in dynamis or limbus, fun when your tanks go afk in the middle and you get a hug link pull >.<;

I have leveled everyjob thru the dunes and most thru Qufim. And about the pl thing on ifrit people get all pissed when you leave because of a pl. I use to leave all the time due to the pl, now with my last 2 jobs im kind of to the point where i go take pl and leave these places forever sooner. Best party pre 37 i have ever had was no PL in qufim island had a whm rdm nin warx2 and me on rng, i just told them conserve mp cuz i wont stop pulling, and they did pulling 7k exp /hr in qufim is fun lol.

I've come to realise that now Sev, no matter how polite I am, and how respectful of others want/need for a PL, they still abuse me for leaving. Even on the times that I find myeslf a good replacement. (most of the time they say dont worry, the PL will look after them until they find a 6th)

I guess I'm just tired of it. I don't see why I should have to party with a PL if I don't want to. Everyone has the freedom to play the game the way they choose, I don't see why I cannot do the same.

People who accept a party invite knowing they have little over an hour to play. I had a WHM today who had 1 hour and 15 minutes before an LS event. So why the fuck did you accept my invite?

On lower level jobs it's not so bad. Still inconsiderate as hell, but not that terrible. But on level 67-68 jobs, you know damn well no one is going to level in one hour. Just irritates me.

I had a similar experience, I was leveling RDM in the dunes, and the BLM (and his PL, of course) were insisting that the BLM cast Bio/Dia... even though he was casting BOTH of them... AND I had more MP than he did (I was a taru, two levels higher than an elvaan)

Of course, I should've listened to the PL I suppose. They were a 36WHM/10BLM, but they had a 75BLM on another server!

lol, yeah this was sparked by a PLD. We were 5/6 and just needed a tank. For over an hour there were 0 NINs and 1 PLD in our range. The PLD was LFG but wouldn't answer anyone. We finally grabbed another PLD when they signed on. Then we wiped getting to camp and disbanded.
