Sounds like he was just being a dick. He shouldn't have changed his mind like that. I don't have a problem with him not letting someone in that isn't going to buy their own pops, but don't let them in and then change your mind.

Sorry to here that firewind sounds like duoing with me would have been less stressfull for you. Though i nearly collapsed of exhaustion about 12:30 jsut after I got lvl 72.

Some terrible BLU who kept standing in the AoE and insisting on pulling instead of the THF. Kotail or Xotail or something like that.

I to know that he argues a lot with the Port Jeuno trolls though so that pretty much sums up the player right there

@Jarre -- sorry bud, Guild Wars 2 Weekend Beta but if you're free next week we can EXP some! Need plenty of merits and all that fun stuff.

@Firewind: Sucks, that's why I hate seal farming; one of those 'damned if you do, damned if you don't moments'. Drop rate sucks without TH and yellow procs (although if you're Hayde, you could have both and still fail)--but if you go with yellow procs and TH in a pick-up group, you still might get screwed. /sea for me and if you see me on, I'm probably just afking while waiting for weather for trials...don't mind helping. You should probably add me to friends list, in fact--some times I'm on my mule and other times I'm not in that linkshell.

I'm generally on around anywhere from 12-2PM PST ~ (sorry I'm bad at time conversion) onwards, and there are some days where I'm more likely to log on earlier, but not usually at the beginning of the week.

I'll see what I'm doing work wise this week mate just dinged lvl 73 in Lab of onzo easy kills their of gobs and mantras to chain gov. 2 levels to go and 3 merits before limit break quest can be done to raise to 80.

umm im new kind of but uhhh, i would say the airships and boats. just as you run to one, about to board it takes off, there you stand for 15 minutes, then it gets there, then you wait on it for about 5 minutes, then you sit on the ship for like another 15 minutes..... My first mmo was EQOA for PS2 and still remains my favorite, just wish sony had released it cross platform and actually released expansions for it! 9 years! NINE YEARS!!! one expansion!!!!! but ya in that game you just took a coach, which meant you walked up to a coachman and hailed him, picked a town and loaded right in. In fact the reason i just got back into FF is it's the last hardcore mmo i can find. even the original EQ is all gimped down now with mercs. This game sure has it's issues but it's hardcore and that says a lot for me! There were things in EQOA that took weeks, months even! Items that a handful of people had, now its all WoW and everyone has the same dam gear at end game! But i digress! This game rocks, when it's all over with and all we have are easy mmo's with mission arrows and instances where no one talks just KILL KILL KILL! you will reflect upon this game and weep for it's departure! trust me!

I had a sweet PUG seal experience over the weekend.

By fluke I happen to be on WHM and while running to my MH I saw a shout for Mnk hands and they just needed a whm. So I joined. Was a Thf/Blm/Whm and we were going out to kill the Lady bug in Aby-Alt. A quick peek at the Thf and blm and it looked like they knew what they were doing. As soon as we get there, the blm has to bail. Personal situation in RL he says. We say ‘np, RL comes first blah blah blah”. totally understandable…that stuff happens. And the fact that he got time and never moved (even after disbanding) kinda made it obvious he was really gone. Again, no biggie.

We proceed to duo. Killed 2 lady bugs pretty slowly. Eventually we decided to warp back and get a blm at the very least. We get a blm and happen to find a War interested too. The blm mentions he has a mule (blu) and brings that along. So a Whm, Blm(/brd), Blu, War, Thf. All 99. Kinda looks like an ideal setup for getting seals right?

So the war…show’s up with some meh gear. +1s here and there and some questionable other options but I overall not horrible. Till I saw the weapon. He’s got that Magus GA (sp). It’s the one that uses stones (similar to sea weapons) and occasionally does double damage. A gross GA basically…on top of that, he’s not even using stones either. Doesn’t have any, didn’t know where to get them. And he’s spamming all GA WS. Like all of them. /sigh

The Blm is borderline naked when he shows up. Start fighting and he doesn’t change. Pretty much comes with the moogle suit and shitty town/event gear. Spams the proc spells (many of which aren’t event proc spells (like Blizzard II…etc)). Once proc’d…just stops completely aside from some random stuns. And I mean random stuns. Not like, during a spell or a TP move…just whenever. No other spells to help us out…no DoTs or anything.

His dualboxed mule the blu. Completely naked w/ the exception of a sword. Honestly…imagine checking someone and all you see is a sword on them. I assume he was using spells but iunno. Certainly didn’t help drop any emergency heals when the thf got nailed by TP move putting him in the red a couple times.

After 2 failed attempts I basically said I’m out. I don’t expect top of the line gear from people, but I do expect people to at least hold their own and do your part. Both the Thf and I apologized to each other and decided to try another time.

Paralysis. Always paralysis. The game was kind enough to let me re-Charm the Huge Wasp, but to let me make it attack the Funguar? Heavens no. I barely survived at 40HP.

By buddy Rook has gotten me heavily back into WotG. And while a lot of the CSs are long I’m actually very interested in the story.

So I had a hunch regarding one of the NPCs in the story line and instead of pressing on with missions I decided to wiki the character.
Got more info than I wanted . And couldn’t help myself to stop reading.

So have a good idea what’s going to happen in future missions.
None the less, I’m sure they’ll still be good.

We received positive and negative feedback about the adjustment of Treasure Hunter for Dipper Yuly and Faithful Falcorr, and we would like to let you know that this was to keep the overall balance amongst other jobs and their Treasure Hunter effects. After thorough review, we are starting to see the results we intended to meet, so there are no plans to make any further Treasure Hunter adjustments to these pets.

We definitely understand the intense discussions these changes have brought about, especially regarding obtaining currency through Dynamis and Beastmaster's qualities, but please understand that the these adjustments were necessary after reviewing the drop results.
