I just killed all the bats on that level. Took 4 in-game nights.

Advice: Don't worry about finding the PH, just kill them all.

Made so many derps today...

Spent about an hour running around Sauromugue Champaign hunting for a Chunk of smoked Goblin grub, without realising I had acquired the key item months ago. Linkshell had a good laugh.

Started the battle with the 30 Seed Mandrogora's without properly setting myself up (I just clicked on the ??? without thinking a battle would start). Protect III, Divine Seal and Cure IV saved me.

Thinking that now would be a good time to get the Recall spells, I head out for the Crawler's Nest [S]. As I had only done the quest which rewarded me with the Sprinter's Shoes (speaking of, thank you for advising the shoes Yellow Mage), I could not start the quest. So that was a waste of time...

Without even THINKING that perhaps the monsters of The Aradjiah Continent could pose a terrible threat, I set out for Whitegate. Even setting my homepoint for that area despite the long ride. Once again, I did not stop to think about the monsters level when I took the boat to Nashmau, also setting my homepoint there upon arrival. After seeing all the monsters are Tough+ with one of them being a True Sighter, well... that's when I realised I had poo brains. Uuuurgh.

I'm so annoyed with and ashamed of myself right now.

Update - I figured out how to take pictures on the 360, but I have no idea how to get them (I think I can only send them via playonline email?) and the Mimeo Jewel can... something awful. That was not a fun time.

Logged in on my lunch today. Had about an hour…figured I’d get some quick amber farming in.
As soon as I pop into Abyssea, my internet goes down. Didn’t kick back on before I went back to work either.

What does that mean??
It means that if it’s up and running when I get home, I will immediately be booted from abyssea upon login and locked out for an hour…yaay..

I've had that happen to me before.
Upon loging I appeared in abyssea and saw myself fade out and was unable to re-enter until the cooldown had passed.
My login was about 5 hours after my dc after I'd finished /sulk in the corner lol .

Got my hopes up..but unfortunately this is false…logged in, was immediately booted and still had to wait on the 60 minute cool down

NP…all you missed was me miserably failing my salvage run. it was horrible. First mob hit me with paralyze and it proced on the next 3-4 waltzes….which was enough to kill me due to the reduced HP you start with. So I met up with Ariuss and Rook in Jeuno roughly 3 minutes after entering (/sigh…)

Im working the next 2 nights . And Fri-Suns are hard for me to get on (naggy wife/kids lol). I’ll try and build up a Glav set though and we’ll hammer it out next time were both on.

Cleared salvage last night pretty much flawlessly and probably in record time with a buddy.
Got more singles (alex) then I normally get too.

Then…the RNG veered it’s ugly head
Purse 1 = 6 alex
Purse 2 = 7 alex
Purse 3 = 6 alex
Purse 4 = 5 alex.

Those purses give a random amount between 5 and 20.

So I got 43 that run total. Where as my typical average is ~65+

Einherjar last night was a lot of fun, but...

a 72 hour cooldown for a 15 minute fight seems a bit extreme. Is that one of the events getting redone sometime soon?

I don’t think so…I think it was recently ‘re-done’. And by ‘re-done’ all they did was add in a Odin V.2 fight.

Keep in mind it’s the starter wings and the stuff is geared toward 75s. Used to take groups of 12-18 to clear.

I’m sure the 2nd and 3rd set of wings will need a little more coordination/planning. Or at the very least just more careful pulling. It would be even easier if we went with our Empy jobs with a healer…but unfortunately there are very few healers I trust in our LS outside of abyssea.

Mostly at myself for being horribly forgetful against Maat.

I forgot I had an Icarus Wing. If I used that and followed it up with Swift Blade, I could have won (he had around 15-20% health left, I think). I also forgot to change from opo-opo necklace to chivalrous chain (both loaned from a friend) until halfway through the battle. Dunno if that softened his 100+ hitting attacks, though.

There's also no Hi-Potions of ANY kind in the AH, so I resorted to use five X-Potion +2. There's probably one X-Potion +2 and +3 in the AH, now... clearly not enough for me to use should I run low on MP.

Apparently someone beat him in 1 minute and 53 seconds. I shall not believe!

It's possible to rematch Maat after having beaten him, even at a much higher level. So, said person probably had a Testimony and wanted the screw around, or something.

Somehow resolved itself before I could give my ISP a firm talking to.

A few hours ago, I cast Regen on a friend while taking the elevator down in Pso'Xja... unfortunately, that was a terrible mistake and I soon found myself KOed. That'll teach me for being inconsiderately considerate.

More or less irritated on trying to find a spot to get Beastman Seals at higher levels. They come to you in the form of a blessing at Level's 1-10 but during my newbish period I tossed them. I now need them to taken on the BCNM for K-Club and Phalanx. I understand I could exchange Abyssea Crest for them but I don't feel like having to time in and out of the zone to keep farming, it gets annoying having to re-time every 90 minutes. When I wish you could use your cruor to buy another hour into the damn place. So I am 95 THF running around trying to kill weak mobs and found out they need to be "Easy Prey" for it to drop the seals I need. So I am thinking of journeying into the past to get some. Maybe Davoi?
