Why are people so obsessed with not dying and losing exp that they will create issues where they drag other people into their nightmare?? The problem was this....My ls was doing sea nm's and my husband needed me to guide him to the pop cause he doesn't have a map. (Don't ask...but I agree. lol) So I zone into sea and just as I can see, I'm hitting the ground and I'm dead. WTF.... This isn't the first time its happened and I'm sure it won't be the last but it certainly is annoying. People pop the CoP 8-1 NM (I believe thats the one) and when they can't fight it they try to zone and just end up dying and then killing everyone at the zone and everyone zoning in. Seriously people, just suck it up AND DIE AWAY FROM THE ZONE. If you are a good player you'll have reraise up and be able to try again. I don't mind dying for a reason; like I'm doing an ls event or I'm in a party exping, etc. but when I'm busy doing something and BAM some idiot drags me into his nightmare and I die.....totally NOT appreciated.

....end rant...for now....but I'm on my way to sea again so......

Wow, pet peeves. I've only been back for about 2 months and i've generated a few.

/nin isn't the only tank sub. Get over it.

Just because i'm Rdm, doesn't mean i'm going to sit on my ass and only heal. I have plenty of debuffs that make it so I don't have to heal as much, and I will (mp permitting) utilize them. Don't send me a /t with ><; heal pls. I love being a nice guy, but have no qualms telling people off.

If you're a dancer, please heal if by chance the pt takes a substantial amount of AoE dmg. Parties consist of 6 players, not 1 dancer.

If you send me a random /t tnl? when i'm not seeking? Don't chastise me if i'm not close enough to whatever level you're looking for. Chances are, if i'm not seeking already, I won't be for awhile.

Men who roleplay females. Big one right here. I understand the idea of "We pay the $ to whatever whatever whatever", and that's a sad argument for this sort of gender confusion. At the very least, make your performance believable. News flash guys, the girls that i've seen in this game don't type out "um" or "tee hee" or any of those other /snuggle type emotes as often as you do. Don't be a douche.

Don't be a douche. This isn't World of Warcraft. I've had some of the most helpful people help me out in random scenarios for little/no compensation whatsoever. Pay it forward. I'm tired of 1337 kiddies in any game, and during my stint in WoW, it burned me out. /l or /p is not /b/, nor is it general chat in WoW. Grow up.

I still say it but I don't mean it. I've seen what DRG can do. Mostly I say it to piss this one DRG in our LS off, all in good fun, of course.

Peeve: People who have 5/5 AFv2 and wear it all the time, no gear swapping. While it's nice that you have it, most of the pieces are situational and meant to be macroed in for other gear that works better. (Had a RDM in full AFv2 in Dynamis the other day, and never swapped into anything else. Not even v1 Tabard for Enfeebling. WTF mate!)

First off - UGH UGH UGH /NIN /NIN ?NIN - I am really disappointed in how the community seems to have really gone the "Path of Least Resistance" when it comes to this - ToAU areas, everyone subs NIN and go go go - no skill, no "Dang I thought we were toast" nothing but one dimensional jobs and standard roles - so the little grubers can go play endgame (not well, since they got PL'd to that height anyway) at high level.

For me 75 is not the finish line of a footrace, it is the Destination of a Journey - at the end of which I should be the best my job has to offer in multiple situations not just a /NIN ONRY!!!

Oh and I don't use snuggly emotes ever! and I still get folks asking me "R U a rrl Grrl?" - UGH!!! I wouldn't be playing a female if I wasn't one, You'll never catch me playing a male char for the same reason (Though a secret part of me wants to answer - "Yes I am real, a real WOMAN, and old enough to be your mother, now shut up and go kill something, go make mama proud")- and I don't get the whole "teehee Im a grrrl" thing anyway (maybe I'm just too old!).

Now that my Husband is playing I mostly don't have to deal with any of that - we are in a static and don't usually need to do random PT's, so my exposure to testosterone is minimized (and Glenn's a big strapping Elvaan anyway....). Taru's are too cute, that would not have worked out!

We're gonna do the "Wedding" thing in a few months just for the poops and giggles! Plus that nifty white outfit!!!!
