Fine TheGrandMom if you want to drop it that's alright with me. I'm not getting my answers filled to figure out anything then of the point your making. It reminds me of the same instance when I asked my English teacher in second grade what the purpose of the Alphabet was and she couldn't answer it to a satifactory level. In the end she basically gave up on me and allowed me to remain in that confused status.

I don't take to kindly when I start asking questions and I won't get a response back to answer them. How can you possibly justify me as closing my mind when you won't even give reasonable logic back to comprehend the view you try to express? At best the responses are only dodgy and give no real life instances for me to associate and agree or deny on.

I'm not surprised really though of your response. It's always the response I get back whenever I do seek to expand my comprehension. Kind of an irony when you look at it, a younger person actually willing to listen and picked apart a speach to try and comprehend and gets shunned for it. So tell me do you older people really want the younger to listen and try to better comprehend or is it just some silly superiorty complex were you want the younger to believe your better then them by simply saying "They don't understand" and not help to comprehend your point?

LOL I have had alot of debates with "thegrandmom". an thats how they always ended with me... i think its due to the fact, one tends to run out of things to back up ones statement. so they exclaim. were mature enough to know when to stop..

or as i like to call it. they put there foot in there mouth, :p

I'm sorry, I refuse to pick a point of obscurity as being a proper point to stop. There's nothing that's resolved in that, and as for stopping I highly doubt that. Schaivo's Mom and Dad apparently didn't know when to stop when repeatidly their case came to same conclusion.

The point of accepting a stop without a proper resolution is just a cowardly retreat of moral courage. If given the chance I will never stop until I've gotten a justified and logical reasoning I can relate and associate too.

Again a response that's dodgy and didn't even properly answer my question, it was just another response to try and state that your superior in some way.

Do keep in mind my choice of wording may seem harsh or rude. I however do not intend them to be, I choose them because I feel they best express my frustration of not getting a satifiable resolution.

I would still preffer a resolution to it, but since it is obvious that I'm not going to get it from TheGrandMom the best I'll get to do unfortunatly is only express my frustration. I do appologize if this thread is starting to annoy you TheGrandMom, it is my nature though to want to know. When ever I'm given something I take intrest in I question why about every aspect of it.

To most people they may seem it pointless to do but for me I can comprehend it hundreds of times better when I do that drill then just blindly accept someone else reasoning.

Heh, if you even want to get religious about it nearly all religions say to not accept a belief in blind faith. They state to explore the world and ask the question why, the theoretical end in all the questions should end up pointing to one source that which being the superior being religions seek to know and understand.

Take that to a scientific standpoint and all throughout history science only advanced because people refused to give up and accept an obsure conclusion. Einstein even spent the last of his days up his death trying to find a union between his theories of Gravity and Quantium Physics.

Anyway I'm just blabbing on now with a resolution end I'm not going to get. It was a nice discussion IMO TheGrandMom I'm sorry you decided to end it this way.

Is it that, or is it that you ran out of things to back up your statement long ago and are just BSing it now? Some people know when to stop, and you don't realize that you don't know when you stop. Stopping isn't always winning, and winning isn't always stopping. Hopefully I've made it a bit clearer for you.

its also takes the bigger person to admit they were wrong. or to admit they have nothing to back it up with, grandmom is basically saying im older an smarter so im right, your wrong an now im done talking. thats no way to end it. especially when someone asks you to clearify it. thats all macht was asking.

There's so much difference between a good WHM and a bad one, if you are actually watching what happens in the pt. Sadly a lot of people don't really pay attention and so they don't see or appreciate the difference. Even more sadly some of those people are WHM and RDM... and not good ones.

I had a nightmare pt on my mithra rdm in Quicksand Caves. >.< The whm was the laziest s.o.b. I had ever met. I was doing everything and nearly draining all my mp every fight. His rear end was on the pavement most of the time and he was a taru to boot! He had the audacity to msg me and tell me what a good job I was doing! It just seems that a lot of people are not asking questions and learning about their jobs lately and its frustrating.

Horrible, horrible RDM are plentiful at almost any level. I don't think any other job can make it as high as RDM while being such a horrible player.

The problem is that RDM was cast as a jack of all trades, but the game (or should I say, community? I'm not sure which is the culprit in this case...perhaps both) itself isn't too friendly towards jacks of all trades.

People invite RDM to (probably in this order):

1.) Refresh
2.) Dispel
3.) Heal
4.) Enfeeble
5.) MB
871.) Melee

But it's simply astounding how many "Red Warriors" make Melee their priority over everything else. I've seen Red Warriors as high as 60+, and some of those Red Warriors I see wearing (supposedly) prestigious HNMLS linkpearls now o.O.

These are people who would joyfully keep whacking away with their sword while their party was dying all around them; the PLD and WHM screaming "REFRESH!!!!!"; the mob having a dozen layers of Defense Ups, and meanwhile the Red Warrior has nearly full MP. Yet they still get parties, and still apparently get into HNMLS.

i get rdm simply because they can do anything an everything. they keep the mp coming. still the best enfeeb job ingame no matter how hard us ninjas try. they can heal, dispel a mob, an still MB on Q with the blms. throw in the enhancing effects on there sword.

sadly pounce i feel your pain. i seen this on my server all the time. an sadly they ar 75 now, they are in the big time ls's. an yet when we partied in the late 60's we were still screaming at him to do the basic things he should have learned before the dunes. i used to get invites from red warriors with ninja sub. sad thing is he missed most the time, an when he did hit, it wasnt more then teens type damage. meanwhile he would neglect his other rdm duties. refresh, debuffs.

to me this is total b.s. cause if a tank job played that way, or a DD job played that way. wed have such a bad rep, nobody in there right minds would want us.. but not the rdm, an not the brds.

Nearly the exact same thing happened to me recently!! The rdm was using melee food, wearing an Assualt Jerkin, and totally neglecting his rdm duties!! Paladin was dying, whm was out of mp (with no refresh on), and the rdm used his 2 hr and chain nuked instead of healing! The pld was down to 68 hp (no refresh/no mp) and the whm got just enough mp to cure 3 him and save his butt. Lvl 67 rdm...
