    Ok, been talking to a GM about that as well. He said there are numerous requests and it obviously has been changed. No word about how the spawn conditions changed though.

    Can anyone share their wisdom? Slowly running out of Seiryu seals is killing us ...

      i tried lookin @ playonline.com communities i couldnt find anything on the new steamcleaner spawning condition.

      why would they change spawnin conditions without telling people about it. that kinda suck.

        Last night we got so frustrated we tried:

        1)Clearing an entire entrance of mobs (2nd Suzaku island Entrance). We killed everything that moved from the top all the way to the coffer spawns just to see what repopped.

        2)Let detectors summon deep downstairs, and killed a series of about 10-15 caretakers over about an hour.

        I don't know what they could have done. Moved it to a specific entrance? Whatever it is it's annoying as hell. It's not like its the kind of nm you can wide scan for.

          Did you guys try killing the detectors and allowing them to respawn ever summon instead of sleeping them?

            We tried both letting 3-4 detectors summon one or two caretakers and then kill off the detector, as well as letting one detector summon many summons downstairs.

            We also tried seeing if level of damage affected the detector summons, but there was no change.

            We didn't try avoiding sleeping the detector, only because it's a bit dangerous to allow it to roam free.

              everyones aggrevated cuz this shiet is not poppin for us neither. for the last 3 weeks we tried poppin it and its not poppin for us.

              tried pullin both detectors from all 4 entrances. let them spawn 4-5 times before killin detector. still doesnt work. im pretty sure no one has killed SC before we got here.

              still tryin to pop it as im typing this post.

              seriously. this is really pissing people off.

                  Good news.. it seems that enough people bugged the GMs about it. During the last conversation I had with a GM he told me that it is being looked into instead of "There are no issues known".

                  Oh yeah you guys gotta go fill out error reports on playonline.com rather than talking to a GM. I have also been told that GMs don't have a direct link into the development team. How very efficient ...

                  Anyway.. Seems there is nothign else we can do but wait and hope >.<

                    Just so I and everyone are on the same page, using this map of Ve'Lugannon Palace, entrances 3, 4, 7, 8 are what we want to get SteamCleaner.

                    You want to pull the Detectors from sub-maps at E, A, D, H (weird lettering scheme!), AFAIK, they are the ones that have a chance of spawning Steam. Correct?

                    F & G lead to the maps where Curtana can be found and C & B are were Zip roams.

                    It is odd though - entrance 10, is to BB. All the other entrances have a use, except for entrance 1 (which, I suppose eventually leads to BB), but it really doesn't have a NM does it? Is there anything down there that I should know about??

                      There are 2 ways to get to BB, 1 and 10 so yeah all of them got a use. With regards to the entrances you'll need to check for SC you are correct.

                      Still no change though. No pop on caitsith for weeks.

                        i heard is lotto pop from dustbusters now? i am not sure about that yet is what i heard so far. i have doubts tho. but yeah if anyone can confirm this that be great

                          We had that idea too but no success so far. Even though we didn't really camp it thoroughfully so far. Will give it a try tonight. I t would be a goddamn pain though since the Dustbusters are scattered all around the place.. great...

                            on midgard weve tried killing dusts as well as trying to get detectors to summon, no luck at all
