Steamcleaner MIA?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering whether that is a known issue at the moment. We've been trying to spawn Steamcleaner for quite some time now but haven't been successful at all.

Now I know this happened in the past and obviously Square fixed it for a while. Do you guys experience trouble spawning him too?

We haven't been able to spawn him (her?) in several weeks.. Other LSs on Gilgamesh also says they haven't ben able to spawn him.

This happened a couple months ago on Pand, but he just popped today.

There's a lot more groups that do sky now...

It's very hard to get trigger NMs now because they're killed pretty quickly.

Chances are he just isn't up because he was killed recently.

Dumb question, but I'm at work and cant access most of the databases. What does steamcleaner drop? Also, is it a statue-type NM?

Steamcleaner is a Magic Pot type NM.

It drops a Gem of the East used to spawn Seiryu.

It can also drop a Rare/Ex weapon just like all the other trigger NMs. Steam Cleaner drops Indra Katars.

It can also drop Freya's Tear, and Cursed Drink abjuration, but nobody cares about those.

If I remember correctly there was a instance on our server when Steam Cleaner refused to pop for a week or so. I'm not too sure of the details (for all i know it could have just been repeatedly taken just before they arrived) but it eventually came back. Your post reminded me of this and perhaps this is the case. =P (Sucks, huh?)

We were able to pop steam cleaner recently without much hassle. Chances are, if it's not popping, it's dead and the window isn't ready.

It is possible it's broken though. As I said before, no linkshell (Japanese or NA) got him for about a month not too long ago on my server. Had to wait for a patch to fix it.

Best to talk to the competing linkshells.

having problems with him

-_- i dunno about other servers but from what i've seen SC has been impossible to pop. for the last 2 weeks we did not pop SC once. and i thought other ls got it, but i asked and they havent pop that thing for a while too. and i just saw this post about SC. -_- im from the server midgard and im pretty sure there is a problem with poppin SC. i think that SC is trapped inside of one detector and that detector might be accidently killed and the system think its still up and wont reset it so thats why its not spawning. i guess for now it takes alot of luck just to pop SC ; ;.

give me some inputs if you guys know anything about this shiet. cuz its annoyin da hell out of us that we cant kill kirin all cuz we cant get SC to pop.

Those of you who've successfully popped could you kindly advise what entrance, where in velugannon, and under what conditions you managed to pop sc? We'd be greatly appreciative.

We've been trying for weeks without any success, and have spent dozens of hours down there. We've asked other Bismarck ls', and they've had the same lack of success. It's rather frustrating as we can't do any more Kirins until we get this.
