Vrtra = defeated

Did you ever think that maybe it could be a SMN behind Vrtra well. . . summoning. As to what hes summoning, it does not matter. I think the pic is 100% legit, and its sad Xuande that you think its fake, because i think these japanese players have truly conquered a great feat.

anyone whos killed fafnir/nid knows thats the death animation for a wyrm, its legit.... amazing but that pic seems real. Vrtra summons undead constantly so its not that surprising that he could have been summoning when he died.

I don't know, this is just off the top of my head, but doesn't that animation in the background you're talking about seem rather similar to a RNG's Barrage? Just my two cents.

I really doubt the first LS to kill Tiamat and Jurungand on Fenrir would lie about killing Vrytr. I didn't see the kill myself but it seems legit to me based on the facts and that the helmet has been listed on the AH.

MagPrin is the LS, which is a group of JP LS who joined together to kill these HNM. Like DragonSlayer(QS+LW). I heard that Event and Crisis are the LSs involved with MagPrin, but I've never heard of Crisis. Maybe they meant Classics? I don't know.

That pic is over a month old heh. A Jp in my LS told us about this a month ago because he reads many jp forums. Shrug it's real and I'm sure who ever it was on the fenrir server could screen shot the helm on AH and post it.

I'm sorry to be mr rain cloud hear but I doubt Vrtra has been defeated. Currently on Ragnarok (which is probably one of the biggest HNM servers, there is no such thing as an unclaimed HNM in Ragnarok) the LS Mastermind which is basically the best HNM LS on Ragnarok (when cap was 70 they were the first to kill most of the HNM that people thought unbeatable) holds the record of fighting Vrtra for about 5 minutes and getting him down about 2% hp with only 98% hp to go till he massacured them. I have never heard of anyone lasting more then 5 minutes against him and being hit by him personally (hit me for 800 dmg and then again about 2 secs later) I know he hurts. Not to mention he is surronded by at least 10 T-VT aggro mobs to lvl 75s, he summons NM skeletons, has a huge regen hp rate, and also all the regular deadly dragon abilities (Tiamats Spike Flail usually kills everyone who tries to defeat him.... I don't wanna imagine how powerful Vrtra's is). Also if someone miracolously did defeate Vrtra wouldn't they want to take more then one PS2 screenshot, come on if anyone actually defeated him probably everyone who did it would take a few screenshots of the death and items, but no some LS someone beat the undefeatable and took one low resolution PS2 screenshot.

- They took 3 screenshots, look on the blog
- Pictures are taken from a japanese blog, not a forum saying "look what we did". According to what sic/sicbomb said before.. japanese linkshells don't like to brag.. so they wouldn't post pictures like that.
- More japanese players play on ps2 than pc.
- Drks have paper thin defense. Of course you take a ridiculous amount of damage.
- My NA linkshell took down 10% of Vrtra's life. We're better than mastermind !!!! (sarcasm in case you didnt know). Just because they may have been the best in the past, doesn't mean they are now.
- Vrtra is beatable. You just need a strat. All 3 dragons will be farmed if the drops are improved. Right now, the only reason to kill them is for fun..

Ragnarok is no where near the top in HNM LSs. From what I've seen Fenrir seems to have a lot of elite ones, along with gilgamesh. FYI on gilga, people wait in 4HR lines controlled by GMs to fight Genbu of all things....
