Just because Vrtra drops it, doesn't mean nothing else will. In the update news they said they were adding additional monsters and notorious monsters, so there's still hope D:

Let's look at this picture one more time shall we:


I'm somewhat skeptical of this picture because of the summoning animation (purple & teal sparks) coming off of him. He could just be in a pose during his summoning animation that, given the angle, makes it look like he's lying dead. However, dead Wyrms can't summon, so..

Either A) It's a graphical glitch that he was killed right when he started summoning, leaving the animation continue while he dies.
B) The creator of that blog made the same mistake looking at the picture and thought it was of his death, and posted it without knowing, or
C) It's all a hoax

Considering how difficult Vrtra is, Ockham's razor would point to C.
