Glad to see its rubbing off. and yes Lanih has started her own journal now and its not bad. Its inside of the characters head kinda of thing. its young right now cause shes low in lvl's but thats ok it will only get better.

OOC: Okay, I'm gonna try and write this entry again. This time I've learned my lesson, and I'm typing it in Notepad first so that if Internet Explorer decides to get an illegal operation when I hit post, I won't lose over an hour of work. >_>

After waking up the next morning, I decided to head to Kazham for some training. I took a chocobo to Jeuno, then took the next airship to Kazham. Upon arriving, I met up with Veteran and Difinity, and we decided to start a group and fight Yuhtunga Mandragoras out in Yuhtunga Jungle. We recruited a female Hume bard named Karithia (who joined ColdFront the next day ^^), a Mithra ranger, and a female Hume Warrior, then headed out into the jungle to train. Dif and I joked to each other that Vet was one lucky Galka, being in a group with five pretty girls like us. XD We set up camp in front of one of the barricades just outside Kazham's borders, and our ranger went and lured mandragoras to us. It was a very efficient group, and I could practically feel myself getting stronger by the minute. We even took out an occasional Goblin Smithy. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of my times in Yuhtunga Jungle (well, I did get one later, but I'll get to that later in this entry ). : / Eventually, though, we all got tired and headed back to Kazham for the night.

The next morning, I found another group to train with. I don't remember most of them, but one of our black mages, a Mithra named Feyria, also joined ColdFront. ^^ This group was also very good, and I grew pretty strong with them, too. However, I eventually had to leave, as I felt that my subjob was not living up to its full potential. So I headed back to Windurst, intent on training as a monk for awhile. And wouldn't you know it, who should I run into on the airship but Wilber and Difinity! ^^



Back in Windurst, while I was in my room changing into my monk equipment, I took a pic in which I think I look pretty badass.



I headed out to Tahrongi Canyon to train, and got signifigantly stronger. For awhile I fought Maze Makers and such in Shakhrami Maze with a group, Hasame being the only one in the group that I knew. After that, I just fought things on my own in the canyon. When I got bored of that, I headed back to Windurst. When I got there, it seemed that Malakai, through a lot of coercing and cajoling on his part, got a large group of people from the LS to come to Windurst so we could take some group pics, followed by a big game of hide & seek. ^^ I got quite a few pics, but I had to go afterwards, and didn't get to play hide & seek. Malakai is off to the right in this one, and Wilber is on the far left in the grren tunic with his head cut off. And I'm sure you can pick out me. To the right of Wilber is Saal, behind whom is Dags. Next to Saal is Karithia, behind whom is Wagoose. Next to Karithia is Frostmourne, behind whom is Pythagoras. Next to Frosty is Difinity, behind whom is Juliana with her pet wyvern, Tatang. In front of Difinity is Crookedmidget, and to the left of him is Nibiyabi:

Anyway, the next morning, I decided to sign up for Ballista to show my patriotism for Windurst. Windurst's Conflict Commander, Mhabi Molkot, gave me letters to take to the commanders of the other two nations, so I decided to head off and get them delivered. I headed to Bastok first, and on the way, I saw a Tremor Ram in the Konschtat Highlands. In a seemingly déja vu-like experience, I hopped off my chocobo and attacked the giant sheep.



This time, however, unlike in my unfortunate encounter with Steelfleece Baldarich, I emerged the victor! ^^



After that, I headed to Bastok and talked to Invincible Shield, Bastok's Conflict Commander. He told me to go talk to the President first, so I did. President Karsh, I must say, was quite a rude man. >_> He asked me why I fought for Windurst. I answered that I fought for the people, whom I've grown to love over the course of my life. He then had the nerve to scoff at my answer, and even openly insulted the Windurstian people! :mad: Were he not the President, I would've gutted him like a fish, but I restrained myself. I went and talked to Invincible Shield again, and though he seemed to eternally pissed off, he accepted my letter from Mhabi Molkot. I was quite amused to find that Mhabi must've insulted him in the letter, because if I had thought I'd seen him pissed before, I was dead wrong. This letter made him absolutely livid. XD He angrily signed me up for Conflict, and I headed off to Jeuno, deciding to go to Sandy later.

When I got to Jeuno, I stopped in the Chocobo Stables, and who should I see but Pye, wearing his full set of red mage artifact armor!



Hehe... me, Wilber, and Difinity call that set of armor 'pimp gear.' XD Anyway, I decided to head to Kazham and see if I could find another group to train with. I found a couple people, and they said they wanted to try training in Yhoator Jungle instead of Yuhtunga. I agreed, and we rented chocobos and headed off. I lost them shortly after leaving Kazham, however, and got lost. Luckily, I ran into Faluzure, who was taking on two Ivory Lizards all by himself! I probably couldn't even take on one of those, even with five people as strong as me to help! He offered to guide me to Yhoator Jungle, and of course, I graciously accepted.



I thanked Faluzure once again for his help, then headed into Yhoator Jungle to meet with my party. They had invited another person while I was on my way there, but were having trouble finding anymore people. We couldn't very well take on anything here with just four of us, and after awhile of fruitless searching, we decided to head back to Kazham and try again another day. : / I decided to finish signing up for Ballista, and took the airship to Jeuno, then rented a chocobo and rode to San d'Oria. I went to Chateau d'Oraguille and talked to King Destin, who didn't seem very impressed by me. >_> But no matter, I'll show him. >:D After talking to the king and getting his okay, I went and found Excenmille, the San d'Orian Conflict Commander. He likewise didn't seem impressed, but I didn't care. After talking to Halvin back when I was doing my diplomatic mission from Windurst, nothing Elvaans say or do angers me much anymore. I've just accepted that they're a bunch of stupid, arrogant, racist bastards, and I just ignore them now. It was quite funny, of course, seeing his reaction when I handed him the letter from Mhabi. XD

Look, another entry already! ^^

After waking up the next morning, I headed off to Jeuno, then took an airship to Kazham. I met up with a group of adventurers consisting of an Elvaan black mage, a Mithra red mage named Nekoi, a Tarutaru white mage, an Elvaan samurai, and a Mithra ranger. We headed to Yhoator Jungle, and we hunted Yhoator Mandragoras. Here's a pic of our ranger:



Our group was great, and we got a lot stronger. Here's a few battle pics:

Eventually we had to go our seperate ways, and we headed back to Kazham. I warped back to Windurst, when Wilber told us (the linkshell, that is) that there was a Ballista match between San d'Oria and Windurst in Jugner Forest, and he was watching it. Difinity and I took chocobos to try and get there before it was over so we could see too, but we didn't make it. /cry Windurst pwnd Sandy though. ^^ Wilber told us that at one point, a Taru black mage casted Firaga and took out like 5 San d'Orians. >:D Apparently we won by over a hundred points. ^^ Anyway, me and Difinity were almost to Jeuno by the time the match ended, so we decided to stop there, then rent chocobos and head to Castle Oztroja so I could help her with a mission. Here's a pic of us riding through Sauromugue Champaign:



We made it to the Yagudo stronghold, and snuck through after Dif casted Sneak and Invisible on herself (I used a pot of silent oil and a pinch of prism powder). We accomplished what we came there to do, but Dif fell in a hole and got lost afterwards. I don't know if she even had a map of the place, so we figured she was pretty screwed. At about the same time as she fell in the hole, my Sneak and Invisible effects wore off, and some bats and a couple Yagudos saw me and started attacking. I used Flee, and made it out fine. Difinity told me she'd meet me in Windurst, since we assumed her death would be inevitable and that's where her home point was set. I started to walk back to the Crag of Mea in Tahrongi Canyon so I couldrent a chocobo and ride home, and just as I was almost to Tahrongi Canyon, Difinity actually made it out! I headed the rest of the way to the Crag, then sat down and waited for her to catch up. Once she got there, we both rented chocobos for an exhorbitant fee and headed back home. Difinity headed to Heavens Tower to report on her mission, and then went to the gate gaurd and accepted her next one. While I was waiting, I found Veteran sitting in the middle of the road in Windurst Woods and sat down with him. It looked kind of funny, so I took a couple pics. XD





After Difinity got her mission, she had to head to Heavens Tower again to talk to Zubaba about it. I decided to go with her this time, since I had finished the task Mhabi Molkot had asked of me. I talked to her, and she seemed amused at my descriptions of Invincible Shield and Excenmille's reactions to her letters. XD She told me to talk to Kupipi, who took me to talk to the Star Sybil! She was soooo prrretty~! ^^







After talking to the Star Sybil, I met up with Difinity. Apparently, she was assigned to the same mission that I was currently on! It was late though, so we decided to do it the next day, and went off to sleep. And that's all for this entry. Until next time, enjoy! ^^

OOC: New update coming soon, guys. I finished mission 3-2 this weekend, thanks to Hawke, Iamtrini, and a friendly Paladin we picked up on the way. Unfortunately, I forgot to turn FRAPs on while I was doing it, so no pics from the ruins. ;_; I really wish I could find a Goblin Footprint that would let me watch the scenes from the Horutoto Ruins; I could get so many good pics from there. If anyone knows where one is, be sure to tell me. :angel: I also accepted mission 3-3, the one to get Rank 4. So I'll some pics of that too, as soon as I get back to Jeuno and Windy to watch the scenes over again with FRAPs on. :sweat: I'm also almost to lvl 30 (I logged out in Yhoator Jungle last night with about 2800/5700 tnl), so there should be a lot to update with soon (I plan on doing all of the advanced job quests, just for fun ^^). And soon, my linkshell is going to be doing the Rank 4 mission, so... yeah, lots of updates are imminent in the near future. Until then, thanks for your patience, and may your connections never die.

Umm.... yeah, it really does. It does about 10-20 damage without it, and anywhere from 80-110 with it. In fact, it does such horrible damage normally that Sneak Attack is the ONLY way to make it at all useful. Wasp Sting, Combo, and Fast Blade all stack with Sneak Attack. I've heard that Shadowstitch does too, but I personally haven't tested this myself. In fact, recently I was in a PT where we did Combo -> Gust Slash -> Sneak Attack + Shadowstitch (didn't see if this was affected by Sneak Attack because another THF in my PT was doing it, and I had my PT members' damage to the enemy filtered at the moment) -> Red Lotus Blade (I think) -> Water (for MB). It was kickass. I just can't wait until level 33 when I can get Viper Bite. ^^

viper bite is sweet. I almost pee'd my pants when I saw it the first time in Garliage
