OOC: Thanks! ^^ The only thing I could think of that might make my screeshots look higher-quality than yours (that is, if you're using the same settings as me) is that I don't use the in-game screenshot feature. I use FRAPs to take full captures of my screen at 1024x768 resolution. It saves them as high quality bitmaps, which I then shrink to 640x480 and save as a JPEG. I use Photoshop for this. I also use Photoshop to blur things out in pics, too, if anyone was wondering. I just put a selection around whatever I want to blur and apply a Gaussian Blur with a radius of 7 pixels. Anyway, hope this clears everything up.

Well I don't know why that had to come into the post in the first place, and after reading your first post you were being ignorant. It's not "nasty" love is love! Also where you getting off telling what's wrong and not you need to remember what your Bible says, and that is that Judgement is for your God alone. Great Journal, one of the best I've read in a while. It's nice to hear this game from a girl's point. I'm upset tough because i have to wait 3 more days until I get this game for PS2. Time is going by so slow and I want to play now.....ugg. Good Luck with your character.

Wow, I just keep making bigger and bigger entries, don't I? This one is the biggest one yet, by a long shot. (22 pics! ) Ha, but that's deceiving, I think. I just happened to take a lot of good pictures of the things that happened since my last entry. But anyway, let's get on with it. :p

After getting home from Jeuno, I spent a few days just fishing and just making money in general. One day, though, Otiluke contacted me through the linkshell and asked me if I wanted to meet him and Deniro at the outpost in Buburimu Penninsula and head to the Valkurm Dunes for training. I agreed, and went to the chocobo stables in Windurst Woods to rent myself a quick ride there. Paying the measley price of 60-some gil, I mounted and rode off to Buburimu, making it there in no time. I almost immediately saw Otiluke, who was near the entrance with Carbuncle summoned, fighting a Sylvestre. I hopped off my chocobo, letting it run off back to the stables, and snuck up behind the little mandragora, sneak attacking it. It died from one blow, because I'm just that good. Hehe... so anyway, Oti and I exchanged greetings, and Deniro showed up shortly afterward. The three of us walked through the penninsula to the town of Mhaura, then made our way to the harbor. We each ordered our tickets, finding that the ship was due in less than an hour. Here's a shot of Otiluke sitting there looking cute while we waited for the ship to come in.



The Mithra standing next to him in that pic was a Thief we met along the way who wished to join us. The boat arrived on time, and we boarded, getting settled in for the five-hour ride ahead of us. To amuse myself while we waited, I went into the captain's cabin and pretended like I was playing around with the controls, just to annoy the captain. XD



I think he's gotten used to my antics though, because he just sorta ignored me. Feeling somewhat dejected, I walked out and went to the deck to try my hand at fishing (even though I never catch anything on the boat : /). As I was fishing, though, a big octopus jumped up on the boat! I shrieked, running up to my friends like a scared little kitten. Once I was safely behind them, I turned to get a closer look at the tentacled freak of nature. As it turns out, it was just a Sea Monk, not a Sea Horror. :sweat: Still, Sea Monks are scary in their own right. It seemed that everyone was afraid of it, because everyone on the boat ran either back down to the cargo hold or up to the upper platform the captain's cabin was located on. Peeking around the other Mithra Thief in our group, I managed to get this pic of the Sea Monk that stayed with us for the entire voyage:



Eventually, we all got used to the Sea Monk, who, luckily for us, was content to just slither its way around the deck aimlessly. Here's a pic of me sitting with our new Thief friend, watching the waves roll by.



Eventually we reached Selbina, then made our way to the dunes, where Otiluke found some more adventurers to join us in our training. We took on Beach Pugils, as usual, but after awhile, one of people died, and then everyone started having to go... emergencies and such. Seeing everyone leaving, I decided to too, and used a scroll of Instant Warp to get back to Windurst.



Once back, I got bored, and decided to try out other job classes and see what they were like. I started with Warrior, and went of to the Auction House to buy and Onion Sword. I then went to the armor shop in the port and got some equipment, since they have cheaper prices than the Auction House for such weak equipment. Here's a couple shots of me in my novice Warrior gear just after coming out of the shop:




After getting equipped, I headed out into Sarutabaruta to take on Tiny Mandragoras and Bumblebees to get used to handling my new sword. Here's a pic:



After I was competent enough with my sword that I had mastered the Fast Blade weapon skill, I decided to try out a scythe. I headed to the Auction House and bought a Bronze Zaghnal, then headed back out into Sarutabaruta to try it out. Here's a pic of an unfortunate Savannah Rarab who had to be my guinea pig, so to speak (my friend is gonna kill me for wording it like that :sweat: ).



After awhile, Wilber asked everyone in the linkshell who wanted to have a fishing party (we do that a lot in our linkshell ^^). I said I did, and headed back to my Mog House, changing back to my Thief class and changing into my Thief equipment (which, by the way, is a lot more comfortable than all that bronze Warrior equipment XP). Heading out to Bomingo Round in Windurst Woods (which is about the best fishing location in the world for catching moat carp ), I saw a Moogle handing out fireworks to celebrate the coming of Spring in Vana'diel. He gave me two things he called papillions. I used one, and the effect was amazing! It gave me really pretty green butterfly wings for a few seconds! ^__^



Anyway, I met Komeu at Bomingo Round, and we chatted and fished for awhile while we waited for the others to show up. After a little while, Wilber and Celes showed up to join us. We chatted and fished, waiting for Difinity to show up and complete the group (I have dubbed us 'Teh Group,' because I'm not very original ).



While we were waiting, Celes got bored (she wasn't fishing) and used a papillion of her own:



I wasn't about to be outdone, though, and I used my other one...



...and thus started the Papillion Wars! Hehe, not really; we were both out after that. :p Komeu used one too, but I didn't get a pic of it. After a little while, Wilber and Komeu decided that they wanted to show off, and led us out to Sarutabaruta. Here we are, gathered around for a nice group shot. ^^



(OOC: You may notice that Difinity's name is shown as Dif in these pics. She had to get a new account, and so this was a temporary character while she was transferring stuff over to her new account.)

I didn't get any shots of Wilber showing off, mainly because his showing off was just brute strength, and not anything flashy. :p However, I saw a Yagudo and went to attack, only to have Komeu use a jump attack on it and finish it in a really gruesome manner (he tore the damn thing in half, for Altana's sake! ).



It started getting late after awhile, but none of us were tired, so we stayed out. Here's a nice shot I got of Komeu and Difinity, with Azure in the background, as usual.



By then, Wilber and Komeu were done showing off, and we started messing around. Here I am, trying to be like the great Wigglestyx, who happens to be a god amongst hamsters. (OOC: For those who don't know what I'm talking about, go look at this thread)



We camped out for the night, and in the morning, Celes, Difinity and I waded into the river and sat down to have some girl talk for a change. Wilber and Komeu quickly got bored, and they decided to head off to Norg for some reason. We didn't even notice at first, so engrossed in our conversations as we were. :sweat:



We ended up talking so long that the sun started to set:



Of course, I always maintained eye contact with Difinity. I certainly wasn't looking at her chest... of course not! *shifty eyes*
