I get too many tells, I love how people think I can like solo everything for them. May as well be asking: |Please come die for me because I know nothing of the difficulty of the quest of which I am asking help for.|

I died trying to solo DRK AF2 (This was for a friend in LS, and it taught me not all AF2 are soloable by me). Even BRD AF3 needs 2 of me and a support PT of healers, etc (This is the weakest AF3 everything else is far stronger).

give me some advice because i want to do this the right way

i'm taru bard/wm 59, 60 soon, and i need the leggings (oztroja coffer) and the gloves (baileys coffer). my ls is all players lower than me, with a few exceptions, and none of us know coffer locations i think. i don't think i can solo a monster that drops the key in either location.

what should i do to get help with these 2 items?

1. shouts/tells
2. wait til i am 65+ and try to solo it
3. give up?

if you think i should shout, what would i say? this is what i would have done before reading this thread:

now i don't want to shout but assuming that's my only choice i guess i should do something like

(unrelated question: how hard is it to get wyvern skull for opo-opo crown? ;

1) hurricane wyverns are about lv78, don't plan on it anytime soon. The crown is lv65 requirement anyways. :p

2) Your best bet is to do some research then try to find members.

- Look around for information on what drops.
Start looking around here http://freett.com/liene/ (you may have to babelfish this) or http://www.speakeasy.org/~sticks/ffx...ure/title.html to find what drops the keys.
- Next, go there beforehand and locate where these targets are. No one wants to spend two hours trying to find a target.
- Unfortunately, your next best bet is to use a bit of tabtyping.
First of all, if you know any NA players around your level or higher, try to get them to help you. However, don't pester people if you don't know them(obviously). If you have a decent sized group to start off with, some jp players will be more likely to join you. If you're lucky, maybe there'll be a decent bilingual jp player who can help you look for members.
- Next try something along the lines of:
[[Excuse me..]] [[Looking for members]] [[Castle Zvahl Baileys]] [[key]] & [[skill]] [[up]]. NOW: 3/12.

The number being however many people you have. It's going to be some shoddy grammar but its the best you can do with tabtype.

Next is the key point. You're shouting for skill up in attempt to get more people. So when you get your key DON'T LEAVE. Stay with these people that want to skill up until they're satisfied. Give and take. They help you with key, you help them with skill up. Also, more people than you may want the key, expect to stay there for a while. Make sure you have a lot of time before doing this.
