New add-on in the works? "The Chains of Promathia"

From a german news story, it seems that Square have registered a trademark for a potential new FFXI add-on.

The name Promathia is also mentioned on POL here and is connected with Altana, who is pictured on the cover of the Dengeki guide ver.2.

Start fantasizing about new stuff now, but it's unlikely we'll see this new disc until much later this year, or even next.

Once you hit 75, finished all Missions (normal&Jiraat), don't need anymore money..the game gets really boring. Since 2 weeks all I do is help friends, make some lvl up pts withouth I can get anymore exp, get Quest items/hunt NMs for rare/ex stuff...and so on.

I hope we can get to lvl 100 or higher, imo nothing is more fun than a lvl up pt (with high lvl job).

Come on Square-Enix gogogogo faster!

Hang in there high level players! Not long till the E3 comes around and reveals the new expansion, till then you can start up a new character or put give your current character a vacation in the Taru-inn and you can go do some school work...or go out. :sweat:

There are other ways of fighting to get stronger, and it doesn't have to involve getting EXP either.

Some things I'd like to see in the expansion:

1. More mage jobs. Blue mage - hell yes.
2. More abilities for everyone, including job power ups (cough, smn)
3. More level up areas for low levels, Qufim and Valkurm have gone to hell.

I hope they power up sam ability wise , NO more WS. We want things like weapon specific job traits that make Sam a worthy character to have past lvl 30/60. Not just another sub for meditate

there was already another thread on this, I'll I'll say what I said on the other thread.

SE had canceled their registration on the name "Chrono Break," which everyone was positive that it was going to be a sequal to the popular Chrono series. The name "Chrono breake" or whatever the name is in japanese, is still registered in japan however. My point is, a registered name proves nothing except to arouse speculations. Of course the possiblity of another FFXI expansion named "chains of promathia" is still there.

Don't get me wrong, I know SAM/WAR is the proper order to make , but untill I get over the level 30(noob) mark . I'm not putting my ass on the line in the backup voke order ,while i'm in Qufim still. -_-

But overall I really don't mind being one of the rarer main jobs, but I'm getting sick of people telling me , There is no reason to lvl level SAM past 30 , and after 60 is their really anything to llok forward too when DRG,DRK, and just about any DD can have your

Drk has the same problem, all active abilities stop at lv30. I really hope square adds some new abilities. The last thing we need is more jobs....
