The part about 10 mins means it's the time limit for the fight. Go over and you lose by default.

should post some strategies up on how to win on the fight for their job.

I finished this quest last night. Got the Paladin item drop from Antican Antesignanus.

My fight with Maat was pretty tough but in the end i had 200 more hp than him ^^

Once Maat teleported me to BC (feiyin) I took a few minutes debating whether attack or def food was best...eventually decided to let my JAs take care of def boost and used the attack bbq. I put on protect/shell before the BC but once i entered it removed all status spells when the sj was removed...so had to recast those and wait MP.

After MP was full I used a yagudo drink and headed in to see Maat. His attacks were pretty strong but also slow so had time in between attacks to use cure without worrying about being interrupted. Other than physical attacks he also used Flash magic and shield bash for stun effects. When his life was about 50% he used the Paladin SP -Invincible- during this time, since I didnt want to waste MP with banish, I ate about 10 hi-potions and got my HP out of the yellow. The rest was just a race to the end with a 2nd yagudo drink eventually giving me enough MP to do cure4 twice. When my life got to red I used my SP and remaining MP for cures. Then, after what felt like an eternity, I got 100 TP again and was able to finish him with vorpal blade....I had ~200HP, 4MP and no potions left;; Complete time was 5min 48sec.

After the win it sends you out and gives you a dezone scroll...used that, returned to Maat and completed the final genkai.

For all you thfs out there, you must steal yours from one of the thf type monsters on the list. In my party we did this by getting the monsters HP down to about 10% and then sleeping it. It took about 5 steal attempts for the steal to be sucessful. Make sure your party knows this and doesn't kill the thf type enemies, atleast before you get a chance to steal!

When Maat used war 2h abi and a Renkei, I was done for before I even realized it, lol.

What are the prices for Potions on your Sever right now?
Here a normal Hi-Potion goes for 6k (1.2k before), and the well I dunno the name (those who regenearte 1/4 of ur hp) 250k now (!) before 40k, omg...
