Re: KH Re: Coded release date
I just appreciate that Aqua was the first really mature playable character within the series. She always behaved like a grown-up. Meanwhile Terra and Ventus pretty much Leeroy Jenkins their way into any scenario. I was kinda surprised to find out Aqua's voice actress, Willa Holland, was a bit younger than her character sounded.
While the plot does seem rather Revenge of the Sith, you have to keep in mind that Star Wars itself was inspired by old Kurasawa samurai movies. The Sith take over the government use it to end the Jedi order. The Japanese government decides to eliminate all the factions of Samurai, the catch being there that they tossed out the good with the bad, which was a bit more tragic.
Though I do have to admit, Mark Hamill did shoot out the "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate and hate leads to Darkness" bit. It made me chuckle to hear a character he voiced say it. Expecting Yoda suddenly, I was.
The next thing I wanted to hear him say was, "You don't fuck with a Keyblade Master, son."
Aside from having Hamill, Leonard Nimoy just added an awesome edge to Xehanort. Plus I'd never seen him play someone that was really evil before. Goatee Spock doesn't count, he might have played by different rules, but he was still a Vulcan and logical at the end of the day. Betraying Evil Kirk to become Captain was... logical.
Also, the reason I'd like to keep seeing Hercules is I just like any excuse to see James Woods reprising Hades. He really seems to love coming back to the character. It almost makes me want another Hercules movie.
