News for the next batch US DLC seems to be KH Sephiroth and FFVIII music. The costume is free, the music is $3.99.

Its a selection of music from FFVIII, not one song.

I rage against GAME CONTENT being withheld from a game for "free" DLC or sale and I have made that distinction abundantly clear on numerous occasions because there are numerous problems that come from doing that.

What SE is putting out for Dissidia Duodecim is just frivolous stuff, which is fine by me whether its free or paid. If they were adding DLC characters THEN I'd be a bit ticked off. This is just skins and sounds, though, it has nothing to do with gameplay. I'm not exactly broken up that I won't have Cloud's Kingdom Hearts skin because I didn't get the retail release from Gamestop.

OK, so if you have cleared the 012 story, you might have noticed that when the SQUARE-ENIX screen pops up, it is now voiced by the characters, most also saying Dissidia Duodecium on the title screen. Here is the "formula" for how it works (credit to whoever figured this out on the JP wiki)

1) have a save file with 012 story mode (the 12th war) cleared, and
2) PSP's data is on or after 01 Apr 2011.
Now according to your saving time of your latest save file, the following Character's voice will appear on the next day of that saving time. (Eg. if your last save was on 13th, set your PSP date to 14th and you will get the voice) Some voices need special timing though:

The main good guys: on 1st to 13th of each month respectively.
(WoL, Firion, OK, Cecil, Bartz, Terra, Cloud, Squall, Zidane, Tidus, Shantotto, Vaan, Lightning)

Kain: 14th
Tifa: 17th
Laguna: 18th
Yuna: 20th

The main bad guys: on 21st to 30th respectively.
(Garland, Emperor, CoD, Golbez, Exdeath, Kefka, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Kuja, Jecht)

Some of them could appear more than 1 day:
Garland also on 31st, Exdeath also on 15th, Kefka also on 16th, Kuja also on 19th

Character voice that needs special conditions: ([HH:MM] = [Hours:Minutes]) XX=anything, doesn't matter
Gabranth: [12:XX am] or [12:XX pm] or [XX:12] of 12th
Prishe: [11:XX am] or [11:XX pm] or [XX:11] of 11th AND Prishe has to be unlocked
Gilgamesh: 15th AND Gilgamesh has to be unlocked
Chaos: could appear anyday will a chance of 5% only after Feral Chaos is unlocked
Cosmos: special day
Cid: [01:XX am] or [01:XX pm] or [XX:01] of 1st AND must have finished 013 story mode (13th war), OR (one time only) the next boot after finished 013 story mode.
Aerith: [07:XX am] or [07:XX pm] or [XX:07] of 7th/17th/27th AND must have Aerith Assist

I can attest that the Good guys and cosmos work, as I have gotten WoL, Firion, Cosmos on my special day yesterday, then Cecil today. So it does skip with special day.

Could they have fit more into this game...

It is Zidane. At least that is who I heard yesterday.

Was Saturday your special day? If so, that was Cosmos.

Also the numbers matching up to the minute doesn't work. Tried at 8:57 on the 7th, still got Cloud. But got Aerith at 7:23 that morning.
