EDIT: Aerith's page in the DLC section has been updated as well. She too has Another form and a Third form. The former is based on Amano's artwork and the latter is her Crisis Core outfit.

That's because Anima, the Magus Sisters and Yojimbo are all optional Aeons (Yojimbo and the sisters aren't even in the final FMV). You can complete the game without them. Since there is no way to say "Oh hay, I got these when I was playing X lulz," they are just left out.

Anyway for those who are curious Aerith's Abilities are as follows:

Ground Brave: Cure (Restores Brave)
Ground HP: Planet Protector (Invincibility for the duration Aerith remains on the field*)
*Aerith getting attacked will not cause an Assist lock. This applies only to Planet Protector.

Air Brave: Seal Evil
Air HP: Holy (100% accuracy, but incredibility long charge time)

One final Playable character has been revealed, though it was kind of uncovered in the Demo data.

Also there are two flavors of data importing. "Strongest Characters" which brings over level, AP, acc slots, Abilities, player icons and partial PP catalog data. There is also "Level Reset" which does not bring over level, abilities and AP. There are some bonuses items for importing data.

Data install is 491MB, 570MB and 810MB. The latter has an estimated 100 minutes for installation.

sigh, why don't they add Cosmos as a boss too for the Chaos warriors to fight.

She's supposed to have power equal to Chaos, but the developers are dumb making her appear helpless. And the only idea they can come up with is ANOTHER VERSION of Chaos. >.>

Yeah, not to mention that there are way more good guys than bad guys in this game. Bad guys had to steal from the good guy ranks to even the odds, otherwise they just got Gilgamesh whose services are questionable at best.
