Never even occurred to me. Though they'd probably die just as easily as Pichu. And that'd suck D:

Plusle and Minun? >_> I don't think they'd die that easily. I was thinking actually somewhere in between Pikachu and each Ice Climber for each critter. But, then again, we're still thinking by Melee standards.

And no freakin' way Pichu's going to be in there. The icon is Pikachu.

Ness coming back seems okay. More reps for Earthbound, I suppose (never played the game before, though; maybe I'll play it if it makes it to the Virtual Console).

As for Captain Falcon, etcetera, I honestly couldn't care less. If they don't make it back, I don't care, and if they do, then more characters for me to beat up.

(And Krystal > Falco, obviously.)

There are more spoilers than plot spoilers. I wouldn't like knowing what's in a present before I unwrap it. With Smash Bros. being such a fan service game the character roster is spoiler content. I've been avoiding the spoiler blog since it started, but I've already had a damn lot spoiled for me just by inconsiderate thread titles.

Nope, those two are completely expected and where even in the first trailer. And that's hardly as much of a fan service series as Smash Bros. anyway. Although, when the first iteration of SF3 came out and there was no Chun Li I was just a bit pissed.
