Already been playing COD4 like nuts on my PS3...it's fantastic. Definitely one of the top online experiences currently available for consoles, alongside Halo 3 and Team Fortress 2. Gears PC is a definite buy later on, along with Silent Hill Origins.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Super Mario Galaxy has been pushed back to 2008.

At least that's what the guy @ my local EB told me. That said, can't wait to get my hands on Origins!

I'm about 105% certain the guy at your local EB has no idea what he's talking about. The game is gold, ships next Monday.

Walked home with Lego Star Wars Complete for 360 and Fire Emblem for Wii. The graphical upgrades to Lego Star Wars on the 360/PS3 are very nice, though I hate how VSync is off and you get screen tearing. Hurts what is otherwise a very awesome presentation. Fire Emblem shipped with a nasty bug that locks up the console if you try to import data from Path of Radiance on your GameCube memory card. I'm hoping Nintendo finds some way to address this, and so that game's going on the backburner for a week or so.

I thought it was rather F'ed up.

But then again, EB is run by retards (I'm referring of course to their head office. The guy's at this particular location are pretty cool and know wtf they're talking about.)

The other Call of Duty games weren't horrible, but I was never really excited about it. I'm only really interested in this one because of the E3 videos. So I think I'm going to rent it first.

While trying to get my next badge for rank up in Warhawk last night saying the PS3 version got bad reviews or something. Is this another game where they gave the X360 version all the love and 60 fps, and the PS3 is doing half that?

Agreed. My guys at GameStop confirmed to me that Mario Galaxy ships next week.

I picked up Call of Duty 4 on PS3 yesterday. Wooooooooow!!!! Best online console FPS game ever. Better than Halo 3, and perhaps only to be rivalled by UT3 whenever it gets around to shipping.

Might pick up Fire Emblem on Wii at some point but still trying to get caught up on games.

Negatory, both versions run upscaled 1080p and a flawless 60fps. I haven't seen a side-by-side comparison but some sites have said that the PS3 version excels in lighting and textures, but I haven't seen any difference from what I've seen. Both versions look and run spectacular, which is how it should be.

See, that's what I wanted to hear. Tired of hearing how companies are just porting X360 games to the PS3 when the PS3 could potentially produced a better game but they save money and don't try.

I think I'll start with a rent first, because there a bunch of games coming out this month I want first.
