Holy crap! We had almost the same idea!

Now I just want to work on the fonts on this one, maybe do some blurring in the background, and make that cutout of me shiny (and have a border on the bottom).
But yours is pretty dang neat too. I like the orange.

edit: Now that I see it finished, I see several things I did wrong. I'm going to give one like yours a try though. I really like that concept, Taskmage.

Nice work considering you "dun know how to make the pretty graphics" just make sure the text on top of text is readable somehow. The sig you made is always better than the sig someone else made for you. Well ... maybe not if you're still at the pencil tool + MS Paint stage, but you're clearly past that. ^^

When my brain is less frazzled after some sleep I'll find a different font or a way to make that top bit stand out more. Right now I'm not happy with it at all.

@Aelathir: Make the background text lighter a bit, and add a layer effect (emboss possibly) to the foreground text. The background text as it stands grabs too much attention; I think it would be more effective if it would only be seen after looking at the title text. Pose is good.

Also, RSE looks absolutely horrid. Use a "No Equip" frame.

@Taskmage: You seem to have a sufficient number of sigs now. PM me if you wish to reconsider my earlier offer.

Lago... I LOVE the way the blackmage one looks. the DRK one looks a little... icky? though, and the SMN is kinda dull (still looks nice)

I don't know about my own. I hardly play Corsair anymore because I've been so busy with Black Mage, and the signature is nice (It was made for me) but it's just a tad... Inaccurate?

Yeah, the smn one is my least favorite. I couldn't figure out anything to do with those weird colors, and I was trying to not give every single one an angsty background. It still looks "ok" I think, though.

"Icky" probably means I got what I was going for with that one. The color edit on the face seems to come across well, but the composition is the weakest of the three.

I should probably make the text easier to read on the blm one, but that's my favorite. I'm just afraid somebody's going to take the quote and think I'm a n00b for only using one spell. Watch, it'll happen.

Matera, I've always liked that sig, it's just that between the pink background and the frilly AF it took me a while to notice your char is male. ^^ Nice though, and I like the quote.

Feba: Ehh I dunno. I never like the way sigs look when they're floating in the middle. They feel better anchored to a side, imo. I wonder if it'd be more interesting to align right for a change ...

Task, I like your ~sig style, and the fact that you can make so many with a similary "template" for each job. Interchangable sigs aren't something I've seen very much of (I also like the way Stromgarde interchanges his). Personally, I like quotes in artistic media, like quotes in the beginning, middle, or end of a song, movie or even a game. A quote on a still image is nice. I really want to see the way the Sam one turns out (do you hate Sam or something? ) and the quote that you choose to go along with it. 10/10 Indeed....on a completely unrelated matter you're a n00b for casting one spell. You can find other spells on the AH in case you didn't know..noob.
