I like my new job. It's all Linux and Python scripting, I've got a 6 minute commute and I can come in at whatever hour of the morning I want.

The announcment about the neo-nyzul changes makes me smile. Now it's possible to get a a 99 piece of equipment of your choice if you've completed up to floor 80 at least 5 times. The old requirement was making it to floor 80 25 times. This is a nice improvment and gives me a little hope for the future. Of course this is also coming with the PD and Embrava nerf... so there's a bitter-sweet taste to this as well.

SCH has always been the "I Win" button for Neo Nyzul while RDMs were the things you invited when you couldn't find a SCH and WHMs went back to Abyssea.

Now it's back to Old Nyzul where SCH and RDM are the only viable healers for Nyzul and WHMs...Well at least they have Abyssea now...

So the gentleman friend and I, we don't see each other a lot. This is mostly due to me working nearly 60 hours a week regularly and him working on his dissertation and teaching undergrads at USF. But we do talk to each other almost every day, even if just via text.

So I didn't hear anything from him today which was unusual, but he texted me just as his day was ending to tell me how crazy his day was and just to say "hey" and then head off to bed.

Seems minor, sure, but it's good to know that someone is thinking of me enough just to say, "Hey, sorry I haven't given you much attention today, this is why, and I just wanted to talk to you for a few minutes before I crash."

No idea if this is going anywhere, but I do know I'm in serious like with this guy.
