Do you know the entire story? The employees are willing to give Mr. Walker all that he asked for except taking away their collective bargaining rights. He says that he's all about balancing the budget and they are willing to give him the money but he won't deal with them. I think we all know how the world works, each side gives and takes.......he won't even bargain. Thats being a dictator....do it my way or hit the highway. And yes now the douchebag is even threatening to cut public employee jobs if he doesn't get his way. To top it off, he was doing this all underhandedly too. It was supposed to fly under the radar and get passed with little notice. He's also in talks with other new Republican governors to get similar legislation passed in their states. This entire thing is slimey, underhanded, and wrong.

I don't ever assume you're an idiot. Why don't you extend the same courtesy to me at least once in a while. I already said earlier that I am with the unions to retain their collective bargaining rights. It was the very first thing I said, in fact. WI has to do something about its budget and Republicans are obviously using this as an opportunity to slip this little agenda of theirs in, but it didn't escape notice. At the same time, I will be very surprised if they fold on this issue because, unlike the Democrats in WI, they have the votes on their side and they know they will get what they want, one way or another, even if you're left with a less educated state as a result.

And maybe you should stop reading into things that aren't there. Where did I call you an idiot...ever? I'm sorry but I don't do that so if you are perceiving it then its all you. I asked if you knew the entire story, you know like because you don't live in WI and might not care about the politics going on there. If you want to discuss this issue you can PM me but do not derail the thread with accusations with no basis in reality.
