    Christmas shopping for the child is pretty much done (except for stocking-stuffers).

    Now to figure out what to get for my husband.

      After nearly 29 years of marriage, I give "coupons" to my husband. I get on Photoshop and make them with stuff like

      - I pass on mowing the lawn.
      - No grandkids zone today.
      - I'm getting old, I need a massage.
      - I want _______ for supper tomorrow.
      etc.

      and then I usually get him one of his t-shirts with the goofy sayings on it. Oh and screwdrivers....I have to buy them every damn year because he misplaces them and then we have none....

        I'm pretty sure that if I were to buy lingerie for myself, he'd consider it a present for him. I know I consider it a present for him when he buys lingerie for me.

          My gas pedal had been sticking lately, and Saturday it stuck DOWN as I was driving away from my house, so I paniced and took it to a Pep Boys, because they were open.

          The guy took all day Monday to basically say "yeah we can't find a replacement throttle cable" (Isuzu parts are notoriously hard to get these days since they left the consumer market a few years ago) and I had to drive it home (only a mile or so) with the sticking gas pedal.

          So I check on the internet to see what others have said about the problem. Then I pop the hood, find the throttle right on top, and see some gunk at the end of the cable. Scrape off as much gunk as I can with a razor blade, wipe with Goo-Gone just to be sure, and no more sticking. Took like 15 minutes.

                Made the "jump" and made a phone call to start the process of going back to school. Trying to find some more information first, but thinking it's about time.

                      LOL -- he likes me to keep it on. I suppose it comes in handy if the room is a little chilly. A small bit of clothing is warmer than no clothing at all.

                        On the internet? There is no such thing as TMI. Personally, I kind of love the half undressed thing, it's like he just couldn't wait to take the time to fully strip before he had to have me. XD
