And yes, what you said is a very passive way of saying don't buy one. You didn't say you don't know anything about them, which is apparent, you said Apple's products (paraphrasing) were complete shit.

ok so your problem? I think anything apple if a complete piece of shit, and you don't, why is that a problem.

Its not really the products itself, because most of the problems with apple stuff, is standard BS anyway, that could happen to any thing of its kind..... but the main thing are the Apple right winged A-holes that worship the cheap hardware and wont admit that its the same crap as other stuff, just prettier.

I have to agree-- my main interest is in its capability as a reading platform, and I just don't see how it can compete with ordinary ereaders; which I still haven't bought because most of what I want to read isn't on e-readers anyway.

I'd love to be able to toss all of my non-art books on an e-reader, but until someone offers a service to scan in books like that at a great price, I just can't see me buying one.

I'm a little curious what problems Kailea is worried about with the Iphone.

I used to work in computer retail and the product that came back from the customer for support most often was the ipod touch, followed by regular ipods. Having owned an ipod myself I'm not buying another one, I just did not have a good experience with it.

There's lots of reasons to like apple, they are nifty for sure and easy to use, but there's things that's annoying too like software support and itunes imo is piece of crap program. Though I think it has gotten better then it was.

All that said the iphone still seems like a pretty awesome thing to have. The ipad though I think I'll pass. ^_^ I can read ebooks on my PSP by just taking a little bit of extra time to screenshot it with a program I got for freeee. And ebook reading is about all I'd use it for.

I'm a little curious what problems Kailea is worried about with the Iphone. I've had one for nearly 3 years now and have never had any real issues with it. My biggest problem is that I'm now addicted to Words with Friends so I never get anything done.
I'd agree with the pricey part, particularly their computers, but I can say, personally, that I've never had any problems with my phones or my laptop. PC's and Mac's both have their places and their uses.

After using one I can say that you are wrong. I'm not saying this is the next best thing to sliced bread but it is FAR from an Edsel.

Didn't get one. Waiting on Jailbreak and maybe price drop.

I've never owned a Wii, or ever played one, but damned if it isn't the biggest piece of shit ever. I recommend to everyone I know to stay away from them.

I have an apple loving friend, so I have to hear the "apple stuff" all the time....but to be honest, I have never bought, nor will I every by an apple product, they are over priced, and half the time screwy, and then to fix it, you have to buy a newer model, instead of just updating the firmware

Like the Iphone (I have a Samsung Behold) I will wait 1-2 years for another company to make something similar, for 1/2 to 1/3 the price. Well that and my Laptop is a Dell Latitude XT, so I already have a touch pad. (it unfolds into a laptop as well ;p)

I don't have anything against people with apple stuff, like I said one of my best friends is an Appee (kind of like a Trekee...get it?....never mind ;p) its all really personal choice I guess.

I bought the bluetooth keyboard too. Funny thing is I think that my PS3 is going to get the most use of it because so far the on screen keyboard works fantastic. As far as seeing every fingerprint, etc. I don't see them and I'm rather anal about stuff like that. Of course, if your fingers are all full of Cheetos or something then ya, it might be an issue. lol
