I got an electric fly swatter. It looks sorta like a small tennis racket, but with a metal mesh for the strings. Powered by batteries, you can push a small button on it, target the nearest insect and watch the sparks fly....literally. Only sucky thing really is the fly will get back up after the "stun effect" wears off. -.-

I got to clean up the place where my mom's dog is and feed it yesterday morning (because she is out of town).

Does that count as a bad present?

Dogs are well known for their gift giving, and they'll eat it if you dont want it so there's no hard feelings. Well, my dog will. We dilute his water with mouthwash.

When I was about 10 I think, my class was doing a "Give a gift" to someone thing. You'd pick a classmate's name out of a box and thta would be the person you give a present to. I, being a guy, recieved 2 toy ponies with a small brush to brush a pony's hair.

In their defense it's very difficult to say if a Taru is a guy or a girl if you can't see their hair.

My husband's family lives in another state and they are not too fond of me (we married quickly and they wanted him to marry a woman they had chosen). So anyways, the gifts I receive from them are always....hmmm....."interesting". lol Sometimes the kids gifts are a wee bit odd too. So a few years back I got a gift that we all laugh about every year. I drive a Harley and my sister in law sent me a homeade hat that was made out of a very ugly material with motorcycles on it and the hat looked like this:



Now I was in my 30's at the time so this old geezer hat was just...just......omfg what was she thinking!!? lololol It looked like she picked it up at the Salvation Army and I wouldn't doubt it if she did. (Not saying SA has crappy stuff but it does deal with used clothing that can be not in the best of condition.) My other sister in laws always send me stuff that they get as gifts or win so as you can imagine it's quite a mish mash of stuff. lol

My son got a "lol" gift this year. He's 25 years old and they gave him a Pong keychain....ages 4 and up!

But food poisoning totally trumps my gifts too! lol I certainly hope it wasn't at a holiday dinner!

I know! I could save them and re wrap them for mates birthdays. They all seem to be in the first quarter of the year. Last year i did get out of date Baileys which just smelt of cheese when you opened it. Not nice.

Ok so yeah its boxing day and I am bored...

So Looking thriough the small amount of pressies I got given this year one in particular was very bizzare. it was a USB powered circus cannon.

So what present did you get that you sat back and said yeah i really wanted one of those... NOT or just was compeltely bizzare?
