Well, it's pay that or end up in jail. Or raise the child yourself, and that's not exactly free.

Re: Birth control pills...for men?
Men don't now. It's called a vasectomy. Get one, motherfuckers!Men will no longer have any reason oncesoever to bitch about birth control.
Really, not to mention there's no justice sweeter than what only a vasectomy can provide.
Well, it's not like you actually have to pay that. They suck much much less than 18 years of child support.
Hell, hand out the pills for free on college campuses then. Much, much fewer unwanted kids, and it slows the spread of STDs while we're at it.The Pill can cause women to have a much lower libido >->p

Re: Birth control pills...for men?
The only problem with that is saying "the" female pill ... the big study that was stopped early involved Prempro, which is a ways away from human bioidentical hormones. I mean, Premarin (one part of the above) is pregnant mares' urine!Originally posted by Telera View PostHow long will it take for positive correlations between testicular cancer and the man-pill to show up I wonder?
There's a rather high positive correlation between the female pill and various cancers (proven, no matter what documentation some doctors may push on you) and I'd be just as worried for the men as I am for the women.
In any case, that sort of simple, easy, once-a-day thing would be nice ... I have to put up with large IM injections every other week.

Yar, no more dulling the sensation.
I wonder what the side effects will be though. The Pill can cause women to have a much lower libido >->p

That's just wrong! No Thanks <.<Originally posted by Rain_Blade View PostMen may soon have the options of a daily pill to be taken orally, a patch or gel to be applied to the skin, an injection given every three months or an implant placed under the skin every 12 months, according to Seattle researchers.

No one ever said the condom was 100% effective. But hello, you don't just stop using it because it's uncomfortable. That's how you get syphilis.
Are people really that misinformed?

Re: Birth control pills...for men?
Some STDs can still be transferred even with a condom as well. Mainly this is just about a way to prevent unwanted births.Originally posted by Murphie View PostYou know, just because you're on a pill, doesn't mean you should stop using condoms. Or do people still believe that they can tell that their partner doesn't have any STDs just by looking at them?

Re: Birth control pills...for men?
My husband and I weren't on the pill ... and he used to pull out ... we have two kids ...
I think if women and men could commit to getting on the pill together it would be like double protection and it would be easier for them to stick with it.

I don't touch the pill. Every female in my family tree that has taken it has gotten some form of reproductive cancer, every woman that hasn't has had clean tests their entire lives. I'd be worried at seeing a spike in cancer for men, too.
Personally, if the docs would let me, I'd get my tubes tied before I became active, but they emo about you having to have two children first, even if I swore in blood I'd never sue them if I changed my mind. Not that I would, at my age, I'm quite capable of making that kind of life choice.

Re: Birth control pills...for men?
Appealing, condoms sure are a hindrance. But pills can be somewhat unreliable whatever the case... I think condoms are still the best means to stay out of complications as they not only help with birth control but also with diseases...
Ooh if this were a perfect world... there would be nothing between you and your partner, one can dream..

Re: Birth control pills...for men?
No offense, but you don't need birth control, you need an education. Don't be a fool, stay in school, and call 1-800-COLLECT. Pray to the various gods that Feba never runs the country, because he doesn't pity the fool, and he aint got time for no jibba-jabba.Originally posted by siwarz View Postshe is not on the pill or anything... but we talking about it and we gonna ask her mum, my mum wants her to go on the pill. ( we are only 16 you see )
so if she does ge pregnant would be my life ruined at my age !
