I have a gorgeous dragon walking cane that has a hidden sword (and also a hidden compartment for putting my pills in...but I'm sure other people use it for other things ). I also have a similar umbrella setup like Durah linked to. Both are illegal to have out in public where I live. Concealed weapon and all that jazz...I got the lecture from a family member thats a local policeman when I was showing some people at a family reunion. Felt like a little kid...he made me put it in the car. LOL

Talk about concealed weapon permits makes me wonder about Washington's laws... I probably wouldn't carry a concealed weapon, at least not directly, but it'd be interesting to know.

About the shitty car thing... I drove a 94' Buick Skylark for the last 8 years waiting for it to finally break down.Llist below of what didn't work. With over 220K miles I finally gave up and got an 07' Mazda CX-7 last week. (grats!)

The right windshield wiper
Car computer brain on floor of passenger side
Steering wheel padding completely off exposing metal tube all the way around
Glove box door missing
No A/C (July Sucked)
No Heat (I live in Michigan so always sucked)
No Headlights
Transmission Slipped
Often overheated and popped a hole in the radiator once (BTW, throw in some Bark'sleak if this happens to you, its amzazing!)
Back axle bent, which unevenly wore through tires quick
Antennna bent
Passenger door was pulled off a Grand Am to close the hole but doesn't open or close.
Windows didn't go up or down
Back right quarter-panel was primered after an accident but never painted and rusted out
Gas cover didn't lock so it would stick out
Shock came through its case one time and nearly went through hood leaving a mountain there
The finale: The trunk latch broke and it was secured mostly down with a bungie cord.

This is the god's honest truth....man that car sucked. I did glue a Taco Bell cup to the top to make it look like I forgot it up there and drove around for a week. I had to take it down because I almost caused 3 accidents!

How in the hell did you survive in Michigan with windows that don't go up and down and no a/c? I live in Michigan too with no a/c in my Reatta, and if my windows didn't go down I'd die lmao.

Anyways sounds like you had some epic times in that car though. I'll be so glad with the PT Cruiser gets fixed. The good news is we haven't had too many really hot days yet so I haven't really needed the A/C yet.

Well... the arms were broken for the up and down mechanism so when I hit the up or down button the window would fly all around and sometime out or sideways. It was crazy. I would usually get the window all the way down and leave it the entire summer and all the up for the entire winter. Yes it sucked when it rained...

YES!!! My new DVD rack was shipped yesterday so I'll have it on Friday. I was hoping it would show up before the 18th since we'll be driving to DC to pick up my niece for the summer. That will be a spacesaver and give us a little more room in the basement. It holds 560 DVDs and 700+ Blu-rays so since I have a combination of both it'll probably be about 650ish total. I'll be able to get rid of 2 small racks for the space saving rotary rack.

My truck is 12 years old and has 203,000+ miles on it. Everything's been replaced at least once. Runs like a dream though, gonna be sad when I have to give her up. She's my beast.
