So far only 6 people have died. Hardly a "Tragedy". Really people, even if there were one hundred cars on that bridge, four people in every car, and *every single one of them died*, that's *still* only three days worth of random traffic accidents in the entire USA. So far, only *6* deaths have been reported. That's about *one hours* worth of normal traffic fatalities, again this is ONLY counting the USA.
So to be quite blunt, far worse things have happened. To people, obviously, to drivers, to cars, to roadways. It's only in the media because it's happening at once. How is this more of a tragedy than the 100+ people that die every day in traffic accidents without a word of news coverage, except an obituary if they're lucky?
Cry me a river, then build a bridge and get over it. But make sure the bridge is structurally sound.
To be blunt you're a fuckin asshole. Have some fuckin sympathy. i hope every one of youre family members die in a bridge accident some drunken driver causes. i just found out a few mins ago i lost someone. asshole

Alright, I'll have sympathy, as long as you will too.
As much sympathy as you're having right now, feel that sympathy every hour for the rest of your life, because that's how many people are dying in traffic accidents.
Actually, feel five times that, to count for the people that die because the doctors that are trying to save them. Up to about 30 deaths an hour or so worth of sympathy here. Again, this is just two sources of death, and only in the US.
Let's count AIDS. on a global scale. Wow, 304 deaths of tragedy every hour! That's like another 9/11 happening *twice a day!* And that's only two causes of death in the US, and one cause of death globally!
Seriously, the only reason you think this is a tragedy is because the media tells you it's one, or because you don't realize how many people die every single second. Enough people probably died while we were typing to lose an entire language worth of speakers, or a weath of culture and tradition.
People die all the time, and the only reason you care any more about this is because the media decided it was a big sploshun. It's the same as with aircraft crashes vs. car crashes, car crashes are too common for the media to get any attention, a perfect crash landing in a cessna where nobody gets a scratch on them gets more media attention than three people getting killed by a drunk driver, let alone the thousands of people dying from various diseases constantly.
i hope every one of youre family members die
Ah, and I'm the asshole. Delicious ironing.

Lol internet tough-guys. ARE YOUR MYSPACE FRIENDS GONNA HALP YU OUT?
So the hundreds of people that probably die every day near them don't deserve an equal amount of sympathy, because their deaths weren't all "*boom*splash*"?
What's sympathy going to do? There are people in life I can do nothing to help, and these people are merely some of them. Nothing to feel bad about.
If it doesn't affect you and don't feel sympathy, you can just not comment.
You can watch/read the news and something might not affect you personally, but when it happens in your area, to someone you care about or to you; that's when it affects you. And that's why you should have some sympathy or at least the dignity to keep your damn mouth shut if you can't be sympathetic when things like this happen.
keep your damn mouth shut if you can't be sympathetic when things like this happen.
How about you keep your damn mouth shut? How dare you not feel sympathy for all 7-15k people that die every hour? Are these people somehow better than other people just because they died in a big boom that got on TV, or because they're closer to you?
At least two-four people probably die every day in Minneapolis alone, do you even go to every funeral, and mourn every one?
Face it, there's no reason you feel more sympathy here than anything else but because other people told you to. That or, you're an insensitive racist prick.
