Retail. Go me. Manage the store, serve the customers, throw out the shoplifters, yada yada yada.

Besides that, I design and sew ladies' fashions and medieval costumery (sometimes for others, but mostly for me ^^ Got this cute little Oscar de la Renta suit pattern if I can find a nice silk shantung to make it out of...*ahem* ...sorry. Tangent happens.), play the flute in a small volunteer orchestra, and terrorize the local malls with roving herds of girl buddies. And a host of other creative activities that get swapped in and out depending on which workspace in my apartment is currently clean.

Come to think of it, I only work so that I can afford to be happily consumed with my hobbies the rest of the time, which is apparently all I really want out of life. It's amazing that I haven't found a man yet.

Well my jobs are really season-based.

During Late Spring to early Fall I work as a festival co-ordinator. Basically away from home and work on a festival for 2-5 days ge back home take a shower and a couple of good nights rest then onto the next festival.

Very little sleep and a lot of music and drunk people from May to September (and I actually get paid to do this, yay me). It is a lot of fun, but tears the body up and I cannot imagine doing it all year round.

Apart from that I am a freelance illustrator and concept designer and I also work part-time in medicare during the Fall/Winter (to make the economy go around)

I don't get rich doing this, but I have enough to survive and buy some toys from time to time and that suits me just well

I cannot personally imagine myself having a 9-5 job that I have to go every day, I would most certainly go insane from that.

When I first started playing this game I was a computer aided drafter for a civil engineering firm. It was so freakin boring but I did it for almost 5 1/2 years. I have since quit my job and I currently don't work. I attend school full time for game and simulation programming. Maybe I'll end up getting a job as a game programmer but it is more likely I will be a simulation programmer when I graduate.

Other then that, I do homework, hang with my wife and kid, and all the other normal stuff someone would do.

I attend college most of the time (minus Summer) so I read and write right now. I spend a lot of my non-FF XI time reading my way through as much Kierkegaard as I can get my hands on.

So, to aid in my ability to get things done I participate in working at the Library. They don't mind too much if you read, s'long as you put it down the second someone shows up to check a book out (or ask a question).

Business is slow during the summer, and it's a small school so interruptions are at a minimal.

Currently I am a cashier for a grocery store, soon to be out of a job, and thankfully, but I am a full time student right now, double majoring in nursing and psychology. I'm only through my first year and have many left to go. When I'm not doing one of those two I'm either lifting weights, running, or spending a lot of time with my current girlfriend. ^^

I call on architects all of the time and aid them in their window and door selections. I have been working on our Gulf Coast since 2 weeks after the hurricane. I used to just sell windows to builders around here, but the historical side of construction is where the money is. I have been working on alot of projects on the coast to restore homes from the 1800's that were damaged by the storm.

Thats interesting Skoal, we are currently turning an 1800's mental hospital into a luxury hotel. Now thats irony . Lots of Iron georgian style windows with stained panes etc. unfortunately The directors are doing the design, I just have to make it work, as I am classed as a Technical Architect, note working out teh problem in the pic I posted to start the thread!!
