Naaaaaaaaah! Then I'd have to take care of her kids and I've come to the conclusion that I am SOOOOOOOOOO over raising little ones! I'm looking forward to when she moves out and I have my adult household back! lol

OMG, she is such a NUB! You know how it aggravates you to play with nubs that just will not learn ....thats her.....I'd rather kill myself....

But I feel your pain. I have a nice setup with a big screen and 5.1 system with a huge woofer, opposite end of the house as my bedroom. But last fall my wife's brother stayed in MY basement for about a month. He's lucky he's a heavy sleeper.

My wife wouldn't tolerate me playing in our room while she sleeps
I've had my 360 since day one and not a single issue.

I wish I could move her to another room but the house has an open concept so it doesn't matter. I have a 52" wall mounted Sharp Aquos LCD hooked up to a 7.1 surround sound system so you can imagine why its a bit annoying that I can't play. If I do get to play during the day I have 2 little rugrats screeching n the background and it makes it hard to hear if someone is coming up behind me damn it. lol I love them to pieces but my gaming is taking a hardcore hit!

Currently we had to move our computers out of our game room and into our bedroom so when I'm up late at night plunking away my poor hubby is tossing and turning. LOL If I get another 360 and stick it in there, he might have to sleep in the tub to get some rest!

Sure, you might interfere with her sleep, but she'll forget all about that when you're kicking her ass in multiplayer.

Could be a good buy, the HDDVDs should start dropping in price quick as stores are not carrying them anymore. Heck Walmart might have sold them all out already.

As for me, I'm still holding off. I'll settle with my Sony DVD player, and maybe purchase a PS3 with the government checks we are getting this summer.

Thanks Feba I will check into that. I'll still buy one though because I'm a bit of a gaming/collecting addict so I'll buy one to use now and then buy one in a box new to save and maybe another in the box new in case the other new one doesn't work when I decide to use it and maybe I'll buy a used one so that I don't have to open any of the new ones I buy and......

    UPDATE 2/25

    DUN DUN DUN!!!! lol

    Fifty bucks for a 360 HD-DVD ^^

Microsoft - HD DVD Player for Xbox 360 - 9Z5-00013

and yes, I bought one lol .....but just one (mainly because I want to watch Transformers on it!)

    No, just further proof.
Just add this to all the problems with Vista and something I recall with microsoft trying to force people into only using IE.

Would seem M$ has no problem screwing over consumers to suit their own need,

it'll still play hd-dvds (which some places are now selling for $7 a pop) and upconverts regular dvds. might as well keep it, atleast for awhile

    EDIT: Found these interesting:
Lessons from the Death of HD-DVD — RoughlyDrafted Magazine
Daggers Drawn Over DVDs (story from 2005)
Ready to buy Blu-ray? Better hit pause button - Gadgets - MSNBC.com (and one from yesterday)

Would seem M$ has no problem screwing over consumers to suit their own need, but thats business and I think most people probably already knew that.
