Re: New cheap computer...
Well…a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, I used to play the game on my laptop. Infact probably for at least the first 3-4 years.
I found the lap top and it still has ffxi loaded on there. Unfortunately when I try and log in, it keeps telling me I have the incorrect PO-ID or password. Can’t figure out why it’s not letting me though on there. Would passwords be different between machines?
Not sure what’s salvageable. Not sure how to find that out. I can’t even put in the original disk and reformat. I’ll have to take a screen shot next time and show you the screen that pops up.

Re: New cheap computer...
Looks like a fairly solid rig for $350, aside from the graphics card. If all you're looking for is for a machine to handle internet, word processing and FFXI then I'd say that looks like a good deal. Again, my only concern is that onboard graphics cards tend to blow ass when it comes to handling games, even ones as old as FFXI.

New cheap computer...
Sup guys…so whose computer savvy?
Looking to get a new cheap one. Mine is shoot. Not going to go into details about what’s wrong with it.
It was fairly cheap when I bought it, it’s been a few years so I just want a new one.
Don’t have the extra cash on hand to find one on ebay or any of the other sites, so I’ll probably just look at dell or somewhere where i can finance for a few months. Found one for around $350 on dell. Here’s a description. All im really looking for is would this cover FFXI and regular day to day stuff (internet, Micosoft office stuff, saving/storing pictures…etc).
I don’t really do much out of the norm.
