To be fair, the first few parts of the first season were okay, but it got redundant, repetitive, torn to crap, and not to mention all the billions of non-canonical side plots they create just to get a story written that ends in Team Rocket blasting off again and something is learned maybe. I could go on, but . . .

They developed a massive story potential with Giovanni (Team Rocket leader?) and Mew Two, but that got destroyed pretty fast after Pikachu got emo when Ash died in the first movie. (That movie was pretty boring too).

People have been saying Pokémon sucks ever since the kids started playing the games and watching the episodes in the late 90's, now it's 2008 and still Pokémon is being kept alive the most by the people wanting to prove themselves by saying (like they have a thousand times already in a thousand different places) that they hate it.. I find that so ironic :p
