rodimus was a tool but he was certainly less of a toll than ultra magnus. i love how ultra magnus just gets blow up into 10 different pieces when he fails to open the matrix when facing galvatron.

gosh, i wonder what he must have felt then. 'FUCK, im not as cool as optimus and i dont have a cool command center in my trailer w/ a little helper (i cant remember its name! ><)AND i cant open this thing... orz'

yea me too. it was wierd hearing that from anyone else but optimus, however for some reason, right there it was a good fit.

good drop Estya That StarScream is nice. Love the Detail but they made it look like Thundercracker rather than Starscream.

Saw it twice in the theatre. First time I was too shocked to cry. Second time I cried like a baby.
Man, I think I may have to go in the living room and pop in the TF movie. Good times.

Question about Robotech. There's been like, what, 3 series so far right?
Which one was the one that aired on CN for a while. Toonami iirc. Intro was a jet flying through the middle of a big city about to crash when the engines flip around and turn into legs. Then late on in the series they fully convert into giant robots. (I never watched enough of the different series to know if I'm describing every series of the show, so excuse me if my description gives you no help whatsoever.)

It's hard to remember exactly been so many years but there were 3 different anime series in japan. They took the 3 shows and turned them into 1 show in the US called Robotech.

There was Robotech Macross the 1st segment of Robotech which featured a young stunt pilot Rick Hunter who is drawn into the conflict. His love interest is Lynn Min Mae a young girl who is a waitress and becomes a pop start on the SDF-1 the giant alien space fortress that crashed to earth.

Robotech Macross is the one I remember seeing on CN. It has the Varitech fighters that look like F-14s.

I remember the CN showings. it aired at like 430 in the morning for me. anyhow, for robotech, theres 3 main chapters. Robotech/Macross, Southern Cross, and The New Generation/Mosepda: Genesis Climber.

Do you sing along when you watch TF the movie? I sure do.

taru edit: nt, the shadow chronicles footage you found is great. they're using some of the same music from the orignals! gosh, that was 2005? i hope they're close to finishing by now. i read somewhere its like dated for release late 2006?

This thread has singlehandedly gotten me to post again. Robotech, esp. the Macross saga, has left me with fantastic memories.

Oh man, I remember that I used to have a crush on Lisa. Rick had good taste in women* (and Melanie MacQueen had a beautiful voice *swoon*).

Yeah, ok, now that I've made enough of a creep of myself I'm out.
