ProfoundDarknes -> Groove adventure rave is a pretty decent anime, the second season gets better as they improve in animation and story.

X was a pretty freaky anime, one of the more wierder animes made by clamp (pai check! chobits, cardcaptor sakura)

I read the berserk mangas after Skull knight comes in. The game also shows the ending. Dbz isn't bad really, it's just one of those anime you wish were re-made in better art today then it would kick some ass.

Heh, I thought she was a girl from the start, so they guy that gave me the anime in the first place kept saying NO! IT'S A GUY DAMNIT! whenever i mentioned it, so I'd be all surprised and shit ~~; I thought it much weirder when 'he' actually ripped his shit off to show a guy's chest.. and then at the end when the truth is revealed i was like '...WTF?'

Yah, the ending to Cowboy Bebop was pretty messed up, but it was a pretty good ending nonetheless. I couldn't stop watching the last few episodes, I was hooked, I really wanted to know what was going to happen in the next episode (great cliffhangers)

i agree with u about the last episodes cuz i was hooked on them also, but i think that spike's death was sader in my opinion

yah through the whole freakin series u only hear about julia, and then when u finally get to meet her--BAM!! she's dead a few scenes after her entrance! she was cool. i was also kinda sad when ed decided to leave the crew. i mean, even though she was really weird and made absolutely no sense whenever she said something, i still liked her. and then she took ein with her as well! that's two characters that just upped and left! and to top it all off, "call me, call me" played on their exit from the series. it was very memorable.

i think it was episode 23 or 24. 23 was probably about Ed when she meets her dad and leaves with Ein, 24 was about Faye and her past. The last two episodes where about spike. Can anyone confirm this? LOLZ I don't want to watch it right now becasue if I do, i'll probably end up watching the entire series again ^_^

Gee.. where to begin. Define "fudged up." Shocking? Disturbing? Or both? Anyway...

First off, .hack//SIGN and DBZ can be viewed as two extremes. One is almost pure action, the other is mostly (seemingly endless) dialogue. DBZ didn't really have any central themes or whatnot either. .hack sort of does.. but it's mostly plot driven. I think an anime that has a lot of dialogue should have some sort of deeper meaning, like a book/short story, or else it's just a bunch of characters talking about plot for a while. Anyway, neither extreme is all that great, and while the story to .hack//SIGN was interesting, I found it moved lethargic. There are lots of anime with little to no action that are entertaining, off the top of my head, Haibane Renmei. I just didn't think the pacing for .hack//SIGN was all that interesting. Keep in mind the jist of the story is just leading up to the .hack games that are coming to to the states soon (feb/march I think. They're up to volume 3 or 4 in Japan -_-;;

Secondly, if you thought X was fudged up, go read Clamp's Clover. It's confusing as hell, and just as weird. The art is great though. It's so interesting to see their diversty in style, switching from stuff like Angelic Layer, Chobits, Wish, CCS, to stuff like X, Clover, and Tokyo Babylon. Oh, I guess Rayearth fits somewhere in there T_T;;. That's mostly manga though.

What else.. oh yeah. LA Blue Girl is hentai And the topic says, most fudged up stuff in regular anime, not hentai. Tentacles :shudder:.

SPOILERS of Eva

Most fudged up thing I've personally seen in regular anime... a few Eva scenes freaked me out. The mass production eva's ripping apart Asuka's Unit 02, for example, and eva 01 eating the S-unit of one of the angels. Lots of things in that were creepy.. the whole cast bursting into LCL and what not. And the first scene of EOE/Rebirth... Shinji and Asuka alone in a hospital room *cough*

Also, if anybody's seen the horrible Ninja Ressurection that's just trying to rip off the namesake of Ninja Scroll, the first episode's ending in that. Besides being gory, the ending scene is just fudged up. The villain cuts off his finger, which proceeds to crawl up and "enter" a woman. She's possesed, and then proceeds to... how to put this... make love to an armless, legless, dying man coughing up blood. Pretty fudged up if you ask me.

FLCL wasn't fudged up. It's personally my favorite anime at the moment It's just a little off the wall, that's all.
